I just want to start off with the fact that I ditched the Johnson brand a few years back as I heard it contained too many additives that weren't good for adults, let alone babies and children. After being selected to try the newly launched products I gladly agreed as its stated right on the bottle that there is no parabens, phthalates, sulfates or dyes. I must say i am so impressed with the quality, effectiveness and smell that I will definitely repurchase this product
It definitely calms my over active toddler and makes washing his hair much more enjoyable. Love this shampoo entirely.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) For my toddler's bath, I like to use a calming shampoo (lavender, chamomile.) I have previously used a more expensive brand which had a nice scent but came in a smaller bottle. Johnson's and Johnson's Calming Baby Shampoo comes in a much bigger bottle for a much smaller price. The difference in quality is only slightly apparent, with the more expensive brand being superior. However, for my toddler, this shampoo still has a nice calming scent and gets his hair clean, and I get more product for less money.

Its sensitive, it cleans well and again smells so good. When my LO is a little more on the excited side I'd give a bath to calm and use this shampoo for bonus. Lavender is known for calming and it really is calming for babies. Results may vary of course but it definitely works for my LO. A little but goes a long way with this product the smell lingers and you never want it to go away!

The bottle redesign of the Calming shampoo is super cute. I like the tear drop shape.
I feel like the scent had been improved too. It's a lot softer and nicer than I remember it being in the past.
The formula is excellent as expected from Johnson's. It lathers well and rinses easily. Neither of my kids complained that it hurt their eyes at all when rinsing.
The only thing I would prefer is if it was a wash as well as a shampoo.

Sensitive skin baby
My daughter has eczema and cradle cap I have to be very careful on what I use for her skin. I had looked into getting something and this was recommended to me though I haven’t used it more than the once, besides her eczema becoming a little irritated, the scent and how much it relaxed her before bed was just wonderful. I’ve saved the rest and once her skin isn’t so easily irritated I’ll definitely be using it again

I found the scent wasn’t too strong and didn’t bother my allergies. She played her normal time in the bath but then very quickly fell asleep after. She uncharacteristically passed out for the entire night. Didn’t wake up once. Huge win in my books if this helped in anyway!!! This was sent to us but family rated free

I also used the product on myself and I was surprised how well it worked on my hair. it was nice smelling and it left my hair soft.

It didnt lather a whole lot but my daughtet also has a lot of hair. It left her hair managable and thats all i can ask for with her crazy curly hair! I would use this product again.
