This took some getting used to, but I do like it, especially when using it after curling and on second day or post workout hair. I blow my wavy hair dry and curl beach waves, but always had to flat iron the top of my hair which over-flattened it and made it too straight around my face. With this iron I'm able to smooth the base of my hair, but leave some volume and push my hair back from my face. I no longer have short hairs sticking up and my hair has much better movement

Beautiful style and packaging but it just didn't do anything for MY hair type which is wavy, coloured light and I would say average thickness. I purchased this in hopes that it would help tame my flyaway baby hairs and help remove ponytail creases but no luck.
