a month ago i would have given this product 5 stars. it smells great. leaves your hair so soft that you almost don't need condtioner, is made in canada, and is free of certian nasty chemicals.
however, on a closer look at the ingredients it still has some pretty toxic stuff in it including formaldehyde. as far as shampoos go its better than most but not quite up to par for me. i'll be switch brands after i finish my current bottle. for most people this brand would be an improvement though. give it a try and see what you think.

Absolutely LOVE this shampoo & have been using it for over a year at the age of 53.
I prefer more natural products, but many take color out of hair especially if they contain tea tree, but this doesn't. My hair is oily and needs washing every day, this does not over strip and leaves it clean, manageable, and soft. No sulfates or harmful ingredients, no animal testing. Won't use anything else including when I get my hair cut. Great light scent too & so inexpensive, only need a small amount each wash, less than a dime!

Love this shampoo and the matching conditioner. I've been coloring my hair for 30 plus years now and this is by far the best one for color treated hair I have found. You only need about the size of a quarter in your palm so it is very cost effective. My hair is left soft, shiny and non sticky plus the light scent is lovely.

I mostly buy this product because it is natural and cruelty free but I can't say it works the best for my coloured hair. I must say that my hair is very damaged and has been lightened and coloured many times, but I find that the colour washes out fairly quickly compared to other shampoos for coloured hair.
I'm not sure if it's the lack of sulfates, but I also find that it doesn't sud up very much.
Overall, the smell is good and it is a fairly average product.

Good value for price. It's free of most irritants at the cost of regular drug store shampoos. Yet I agree with other reviewers that this product may not be the best one to extend the longevity of your hair color/highlights. Until I find a better valued product, I'm staying with it.

My go-to shampoo and conditioner is the Live Clean volumizing variety and it works very well. When I coloured my hair I thought I'd give this a try. Since I started using it my hair has been limp and it seems to get greasy a lot faster. I don't think that my colour is more protected especially since I feel that I need to wash my hair more often with more product.

This is my favorite shampoo. It's not drying on my scalp, and doesn't make my hair fall out in clumps. It also doesn't leave a residue and feels like it cleans well.
