(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received L'Oreal Paris Root Cover Up in the Dark Brown for free from Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review.
It was tricky to apply the right amount of product. If you spray too little is not enough to cover the grays and if you spray too much it colors the scalp as well. I had to put my hair up during the day and got my fingers colored and it felt like chalk. I had to wash my hair before going to bed to avoid getting my pillow case stained. The color washed off easily after 1 shampoo, but my hair was left very dry, even after applying conditioner.

Quick and easy!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like how instantaneous the Magic Root Cover Up is - especially great when you're in a rush to head out the door for a night out! It seems to blend in well with my hair and looks natural. The only downsides are that you can see the dye on your comb after using it which can be rather embarrassing and it made my hair feel much less silky than it normally is. I'm going to try it again to see if maybe something else affected it that day (humidity in the air, etc.) I think it's a great product that is super handy in a little spray can. The packaging looks quite dated, but it's easy to find in my purse due to the colour.

Works ,no odor but hair greasy and gross
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It does cover the grey up well and it had no odor but it made my hair very sticky. It was messy if it touched anything even after the allowed dry time. It was very gross to the touch..felt dry and sticky to the point I had to wash my hair immediately. Thanks for allowing me to try it as it does cover greys but I wont buy the product.

Freshened up for the day!

I do have a side part and logically applied Root Cover-up through my part and also to the left and right of it to ensure overage. What an amazing difference! As close to my natural color as possible and it looked great! I still have grey strands at my temples BT with the majority of the hair colored my hair looked fresh! So impressed! Would definitely recommend especially for those people growing out between colorings or people like me who want a freshened up look for a day out!

Genius!
I received this to try for free from Influenster. No joke, I use my face powder on my roots between color appointments. (Embarrassing, but just keeping it real.) This worked so well, and I love that it just washes right out. No don’t have to worry that I’m damaging my hair with home color, and now I can stretch a little extra time between appointments. Winning!!!

Root touch up
I tried this root touch up when it first came out and it works well in between coloring. It does work great for me and covers the grey.
