The shampoo worked great but I live in an area with soft water and I found it stronger than I would have liked. Will probably work great if you have hard water and don't wash your hair everyday.
Smell is very invigorating and great in the morning.

Smells fantastic, I love the peppermint! It lathers great, too, considering it's a more natural shampoo. Not sure how it affects my thinning hair, I haven't seen much difference yet. But I've only used it a handful of times.

Good shampoo. Performs just as well as "regular" shampoos but with less of those nasty ingredients

A definite 5 stars for this shampoo, even though it doesn't lather that well, it leaves my hair very soft and easy to manage along with Mill Creeks Conditioner. I have colored hair and it is very gentle, a plus there. Very happy with this shampoo.

There's a lot of so-called natural and herbal shampoos out there but very few don't have sodium laureth sulfate. This is one of them. A few years ago, due to age I guess, my dandruff on my scalp increased and the elasticity in my hair decreased big time. Heck, I even lost a bit of my hair. I tried so many kinds of shampoos but they never improved my condition and all of them had SLS. Millcreek shampoos were the end of my journey. All the natural ingredients that are good for the hair are listed first meaning the quantity of them is not a speck like other shampoos! This just shows the quality of their products. I use this one along with the jojoba shampoo and i've seen massive improvement in my dandruff control and my hair thickness. Praise God!

Well, it appears I made a mistake. My neck, scalp, and ears are still suffering from eczema. As it turns out though, it is not from this shampoo. It is being caused by the soap works olive oil soap. It must be the coloring, or some other ingredient in that soap. It looks like I am going back to the trusted soap works oatmeal soap again. can remove by 1 star remove if they like.

This is an update from my first review. After a couple weeks of use, I am again experiencing scalp and ear rash with this shampoo. This product does not contain SLS, but it does constain SMS (Sodium Myreth Sulphate). My left ear now has a very bad rash on the outside, and on the inside again. My scalp is also red and flaking once again. My allergic reaction to SMS just takes longer to develop than it does with SLS. Needless to say, I am not impressed. It looks like I will be looking for another shampoo once again. This is very disappointing because this shampoo stopped any hair shedding I normally experience. This is a result of the biotin it contains.

The shampoo is runny, and I seem to use more because it does not lather up like I am used to. However, it has a great fresh scent, has a lot of great ingredients to keep my hair clean and helped with thinning hair. I have only used it a few times so far I alternate between this shampoo and nioxin and I love it.

I have to agree with most here and say this is a very nice shampoo. It is reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients as well. I have used it 3 times so far, and it is causing no irritation to my scalp. I suffer from eczema on the scalp and inside the ears. Many shampoos cause me much worse rash. This product causes no problems, and after a few uses my scalp is actually improving. This shampoo seems to be more suited for men. It does not lather that well, but it cleans deep into the hair and scalp. I definitely recommend to other guys who suffer from scalp eczema or dandruff. You will notice a big difference. As an added bonus, biotin is also great for stopping hair shedding.

Runny shampoo, peppermint scent. Not a big fan of either, but I will use this entire bottle up before I make a final verdict. To obtain a lather, I'd recommend shampooing twice; the first time with a little less than the regular amount you would use with any regular (w/ sulfates, sudsy) shampoo and the final time with a little less than that in gentle, circular motions. You will need a very rich conditioner to accompany this shampoo as it may dry your hair out.
