gentle toothpaste. recommended by health practitioner since it seems to not interfere with homeopathics, whereas there are suggestions to avoid peppermint oils with homeopathics.

My daughter hates mint so this has become her favorite. We at first did the gel, then I ordered this one by mistake and she LOVES it. A nice alternative!

I use this product because I have dry mouth syndrome. It is gentle yet effective. The flavor is also very pleasant.

Has a strong "licorice" taste but does leave your teeth very clean and gets rid of any bad breath ! Would buy again.

This toothpaste was a pleasant surprise. It leave your teeth feeling clean and the taste is an improvement on every other toothpaste in the market.

My husband's chemotherapy makes his taste buds overly sensitive and he couldn't use mint-based toothpaste. This has been a great alternative, although he is not fussy on the taste... A wonderful alternative to have!

We bought this thinking it was the children's toothpaste-it's the same packaging. It is very heavy on the licorice/anise flavour and we love it. Strangely it doesn't mention Anise in the ingredients, but it was a pleasant surprise for us. It leaves your mouth feeling tangy and clean without the peppermint. The whole family loves it.

I bought this toothpaste for my son and he likes it. I personally don't like black licorice but my husband does and I like that this product has calendula in it to help with healing.

I hate black licorice, and yet I love the flavour of this toothpaste. It's a very mild sweet flavour that leaves you feeling fresh. It cleans teeth (and tongue) until they're squeaky clean, and I love that it's free of SLS and other harsh detergents like major brands so often are guilty of. However, for some reason, this toothpaste leaves little bits of white residue in my mouth that I have to rinse very carefully to get rid of completely. The residue almost looks like the little bits of white protein that surface when you cook fish or chicken. Once I smiled at someone after brushing with this stuff, and they said "do you have a gum infection?" I got tired of spending a full minute rinsing my mouth after brushing, and having to double/triple check my gums for residue. Sometimes you have to brush, gargle and run! Now I use Weleda's salt/mint flavour toothpaste. I don't like the flavour as much, but it works just as great and no residue!
