Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely smell and gentle on hands I am very sensitive to perfumes and cleaning agents, but for some reason this soap doesn’t bother me. I avoided the basil scent until I read reviews that it doesn’t really smell like basil. It’s more like a mix of cucumber, herbs and melons. I love it. Also, it’s low-sudsing, so I don’t get a build-up of black gunk in my drains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the scent, Love the quality Yup, it's pricier than some... but totally worth it. Just a little bit cleans well and leaves your hands smelling wonderful, without drying your skin. This is my splurge (although I did buy refills, as well, to cut the total cost down a bit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strong Odour I was really disappointed in this soap because of the smell. Basil sounds like it would be an herbal odour but instead it is very strong, sweet and doesn’t smell remotely like basil. I can’t use it on my hands.
