These are so easy to install. No drilling and messing around with screws and small parts like most other locks. Just remove the backing and stick them on (just be careful to place them accurately as the adhesive is really strong!)
We have them on cabinets, drawers, and toilets they work really well keeping our 16 month old safe!

This is an awesome latch and designed well. We were tired of using duct tape and string to keep our DVD unit below our TV closed from our young ones, it never really worked. Our unit has glass magnetic doors that doesn't have handles which limits our security latch options. This latch sticks right on the front, really sturdy and complicated enough for young kids to give up early. My two young ones cannot pull the unit open no matter how hard they try. I would use this as an appliance latch too.

This latch is so handy. I used it as a toilet latch, attached one side to the front of the toilet bowl and the other to the top of the seat, the swivel feature allows the latch to swing down against the bowl and completely out of the way when using the toilet. It would be excellent for use as an appliance lock too. Not at all difficult to unlatch for an adult but my 14 month old hasn't figured it out with a lot of investigation :)

We use these on our kitchen cabinets and they are great! They don't require any hardware, they just stick on. They are really easy do do and undo on either side of the cabinet. There are two in a pack, so they are not very expensive either. I guess the only downside is that they would only be single use, so if you move you need new ones.
