Natural Traditions Roasted Baru Seeds
Introducing Baru seeds, a nutrient-dense legume indigenously grown in the Cerrado, the tropical Savannah of Brazil. Wild-crafted and hand-picked, these seeds have more digestible protein compared to almonds and walnuts and are a source of fibre, iron and vitamin E.
Natural Traditions Baru Seeds are gently roasted to improve digestibility and offer the same nutty satisfaction as peanuts. Baru seeds, despite being called Baru nuts or Baru almonds are actually seeds originating from a primitive legume and are completely unrelated to almonds or tree nuts. These seeds are 100% peanut free and yet taste just like peanuts!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jorge from Amazing healthy snack After hearing about baru nuts, I’ve been on the hunt for these. They are not easy to find and understandly so if you read about where they come from and how they are harvested. The ones I’ve found so far are either mixed with oil and salt, or have to be imported from outside of Canada. What I love about these ones is that it’s just the plain roasted nut. They taste delicious as is and you can still mix them with your choice of oil and salt if you want. Absolutely love this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Minellen from Tasty & Healthy Too I've ordered this product a few times. It tastes a lot like peanuts, without the salt. The list of nutrients is impressive. It means I can snack on them while feeling good about the healthy choice. No salt, no sugar, no harmful fats. The bonus is that they contain a lot of fibre, unlike most processed snacks. It's a win, win, win, win.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ann25 from Over roasted I bought quite a few packets of this brand of Barukas nuts recently, I love these things they’re delicious. But this brand seem to over roast them them. They have a bitter taste. I thought maybe it was just 1 package, but they were all the same. Very disappointed it’s too bad as I like this company. Their products are normally excellent.
