Tough Makeup Remover
This is the bi-phase makeup remover that I turn to if I have really tough makeup or sunscreen on. It can get messy if you don't know how to use it without the product getting everywhere. It's a mixture of oil and non-oil parts that need to be shaken up to mix the two. It's watery in consistency so you do need a cotton wool or disc to apply the product onto face. I find that wetting the cotton disc first allows for easy application and less usage of product. Still get the same effective removal done with wet cotton disc. Just make sure you squeeze the water properly from the cotton disc before pouring product onto the cotton. Although it's designed as eye makeup remover, I use this as a general makeup remover. It doesn't sting the eyes even if you get it into the eye but you do feel that something foreign is in there so try and avoid putting it into your eyes. It's not greasy or oily but you do feel the oil over your face as you use it. It does remove all makeup and sunscreen. The only thing is, after you use it, you do want to hit the shower or cleanse the face with a different cleanser to remove the product and cleanse the face. Which is why I prefer to use micellar water instead of this product because with micellar water, you don't have to hit the shower right away if you don't want to. I haven't used any other bi-phase product other than this but this is a highly reliable makeup remover that really does the job of removing makeup and sunscreen from skin. Highly recommended. I only wish it came in a bigger bottle and the price was lower.
