Formulated to help fight three signs of stubborn acne: size, redness and number. This breakthrough acne-fighting formula, made with benzoyl peroxide, kills and prevents acne bacteria to help treat and control stubborn acne. Works to reveal clearer skin.

Directions: Adults and children 12 years and older: For New Users: Apply product to a small area once a day for three days to test if you are sensitive to this product. If no discomfort occurs, cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. Rinse off. Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily, if needed. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
Active Ingredient % W/W : benzoyl peroxide (3.5%)
Non-Active Ingredients: bentonite, benzyl alcohol, citric acid, disodium EDTA, glycerin, kaolin, menthol, parfum, sodium citrate, sodium hydroxide, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, titanium dioxide, water, xanthan gum.
Caution: For external use only
Allergy alert: Get medical help right away if you develop hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficulty breathing.
Do not use on sensitive skin, if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe acne, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
Store at 15-30°C.

Works great for me!
I have struggled with acne my whole life and have tried everything from over the counter to Dr. prescribed cleansers and creams. Decided to give this a try and am elated with the results.
I have been using this cleanser twice daily for about a month, paired with the Stubborn Acne AM Treatment, Stubborn Marks PM Treatment and a non oily SPF 30 moisturizer. Couldn't be happier with the results!
I would highly recommend if you have been struggling with acne to at least TRY this product with the understanding and knowledge that what may work for some, may not work for all.

Works!!!
I’ve struggled with nasty breakouts along my jaw line, & cheek area for over a year now. I’ve been using the stubborn acne cleanser paste, & the daily leave on mask as well as the moisturizer & I can honestly say I’ve seen the best results with this treatment!! I have next to no breakouts, & what I do have I have under control that I’m so confident will be at bay in a week or two with continued use! Not to say this product is for everyone but it has certainly worked wonders for me & my sensitive skin. That being said, avoid contact with eye area when using the products. I had a reaction in that area during first time ise, but I tried it again & avoided from the eyebrow to my under eye & have had no further reactions. This product in my opinion is at least worth a shot!! :) good luck

I tried to make the switch away from another benzoyl peroxide product line and it was disastrous, after 7 months I turned to Neutrogena to get my acne straight. I started using this bp wash (because the salicylic acid wash wasn’t quite strong enough) and it has cleared my skin in a month, also using the stubborn acne am and pm treatments with the Ultra Gentle Face Gel Hydrator. I’m happy that this product’s ingredients have been updated to have less fragrance and less “minty”.

It works! (For some people)
It works great for my wife and I. We both use it daily and haven’t had any acne since.
What people need to understand: it doesn’t work for everyone, and it won’t magically clear your acne. It PREVENTS acne bacteria from forming into blackheads and pimples. START with Salicylic acid to remove acne first, then use this product to control acne.

Best Cleanser BY FAR!
I've battled with acne since a teen, Im now almost 30.
I've used almost everything over the counter but this cleanser seems to be the only one that has consistently worked for me. Stopped using it for 2 weeks because I ran out and my face has been breaking out ever since. Having a hard time finding it on the shelf, I pray that its not getting discontinued its literally the only thing that helps

This is the only cleanser that worked for me
I have tried manyy products to get rid of my cystic acne as an adult and found nothing that worked, until someone gave me this! No other product, Neutrogena or otherwise, has worked to reduce my acne. I only have a few acne scars now, no more bumps on my face. This product does dry out the skin so make sure to follow up with a super hydrating moisturizer, something like cerave works great for me
