Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helping to repair my skin barrier I've been using a salicylic acid cleanser for a while and was afraid to ever switch it as my skin is very prone to clogged pores, but I was noticing my skin getting more and more dry and irritated over time (plus with more breakouts). I took a chance and bought this cleanser and oh my gosh... my skin finally has relief. No new breakouts that I can attribute to this cleanser and its overall making my skin SO soft and reducing my redness/irritation SIGNIFICANTLY. I also believe I have some rosacea and this appears to be calming that as well. This is a fantastic and incredibly hydrating/gentle cleanser for acne prone skin

I have really enjoyed using this face wash from Neutrogena! My skin is incredibly sensitive, especially with these dry Canadian winters. It is also acne prone. I was so excited to see a brand I can buy anywhere that addresses these issues for a reasonable price. This face wash did not dry out my skin at all! It goes on smoothly with no scent! My skin did not feel tight after at all. If I had any criticism it was that I felt as though I needed two pumps to get a good lather. That could be user error though!

These are very similar, I think almost identical except for the addition of B5. It comes in a huge bottle that will last me a long time! It is super gentle and has a creamy texture. It does not foam up so it does not dry out the skin. Because its similar to the cleanser Ive previously been using I havent noticed much difference in my skin, but Id have to see over a longer time period if the vitamin B5 helps. Overall I am a fan of this because it is super gentle, non-irritating, non-drying and good for those using actives in their routine.

I have other Neutrogena products in my routine, so I was excited to give this a spin! This is a very gentle, fragrance free, and no frills cleanser that I feel worked very well for my acne prone, sensitive skin. I experienced no irritation, and although it didn't get rid of my pimples/redness, it certainly didn't make anything worse. 'Id be comfortable recommendingthis cleanser to anyone acne prone, with sensitive skin, and to any age. The bottle is large and I feel it's priced well for the value you get.

Over the years I have tried so many different cleansers and none of them were truly the right fit for me until I had the opportunity to try the Neutrogena ultra gentle daily cleanser with pro-vitamin B5! This cleanser is perfect for anyone who wants a simple but effective cleanser for acne prone skin. This product cleans my face without making it feel dry or tight! It is also fragrance free which is great so it doesnt irritate my skin. Overall I totally recommend this cleanser to anyone trying to find a cleanser that does its job with out over drying your skin or hurting your moisture barrier.

I was quite surprised at how good the Neutrogena products are in general and I was excited to receive this cleanser for free in exchange for my honest review. The bottle is huge and Im 100% sure itll last a while! Nice scent, not too strong or overpowering or annoying of any kind, clear foamy texture. Takes off my daily makeup as well as cleans my skin from everyday dirt and dust. Do not dry the skin, do not make it tight - just right gentle product for everyones face. Im thinking of getting it again once Im done with this bottle but may also shop around for some other Neutrogena products

Thank you to @chickadvisor and @neutrogenacanada for sending me this product to test out! This cleanser definitely left my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. Sometimes I like to test out different skincare products, and particularly with acids my skin doesnt always react well. I know that if something like that happens, this cleanser will clean my skin without stripping it further. It isnt super effective at removing makeup, but I tend to start with an oil based remover anyways so that wasnt a big deal for me. Overall, would definitely recommend this as a great option for sensitive, dry skin.

I switched to this one after receiving and used it twice per day. I have acne prone skin and found this worked well with my skin. It did not dry it out like face washes I have used in the past do (medicated and non-medicated). It also is great because I can combine it with some of my topical creams for acne that I have from my doctor. I also love how this face wash is dermatologist recommended. I think this product is at a great price point and the quality is high. I am going to continue using this face wash and plan to purchase it again in the future!
