Their rice protein is cold pressed to preserve maximum freshness, and no chemicals (such as hexane, which is commonly used to make regular rice proteins), are used to make our Certified Organic rice protein.
Rice is considered by most nutritionists as being the least allergenic of all the proteins. If soy or milk upset your stomach, you are likely deficient in protein, and rice protein is likely the best route for those with allergies to soy or milk.
Rice protein is best mixed with juice to add some flavour, as rice protein by itself is quite bland. Try adding strawberries and apple juice in a blender and adding 1 - 2 tablespoons of our organic rice protein powder

I'm continuing to use this protein powder and have told family and friends about it. For anyone needing extra protein in their diet, I highly recommend you try this. It was one of the products my dietitian recommended I try to increase the amount of protein in my diet, as I need more protein than the average person. I add it to smoothies, sauces, baking, etc... when adding it to baking and cooking keep in mind that it absorbs more liquid, so you need to adjust the liquid for your recipes.

I'm writing my second review on this product. I've been using it for several months now, on a daily basis and it's the best protein powder out of the many I've tried over the years. Ive been cooking with it too. Ive been putting it in chilli, sauces, as well as smoothies and it's been great. I'm getting the high protein I need in my diet in every meal. If you're looking for a great protein powder, North Coast Naturals Brown Rice Protein is the best I've found and it's certified organic. It's also the best bang for your buck when comparing with other brands.

Several different brands and types of pure protein powder were recommended to me by my dietitian, this one included. After researching each one and based on my dietary needs, I chose this one and am not disappointed. Out of the ones recommended this product has the most protein for the smallest amount measured. I like that it's unflavoured, it mixes well in smoothies and other beverages, as well as being one of the very few pure protein powders that stands up to baking. Ordering directly from the manufacturer cost twice as much than Well.ca. There's another website in Canada that offers it for a lower price, but doesn't have PayPal as an option. Having my credit card previously compromised, for me this is an important aspect for online shopping. Just placed my second and larger order for this product. Wish North Coast Naturals would bring back the larger size.
