100% Pure Castor Oil is expeller-pressed from the seed of Ricinus communisand is virtually odorless and tasteless. While it's applicable in many other areas of wellness, Castor Oil is considered by many to be one of the finest natural skin emollients available today. Also known as Palma Christi (the "Palm of Christ"), castor oil celebrates a history of use that dates back to biblical times. Since then, it has been used therapeutically to help support and soften healthy skin and hair, and is commonly used in some of today's most popular cosmetic and beauty formulas.
Suggested Use: For topical applications, apply a few drops of 100% Pure Castor Oil to the desired area and massage as needed. For soft hair, simply add a few drops to your favorite shampoo prior to washing.

I really love this product to blend with essential oils to massage my sore foot. It works well.
I use it also once in a while all over my scalp and hair then I leave it all day and night (with a cotton scarf over my head at night) to moisturize my hair.
It is difficult to wash out but in a couple of days my hair looks amazing.

Now brand seems to have very good quality products, however, I bought this Castor Oil hoping to help my scalp and so-far I've had a terrible experience with it. (w/the C/O -not w/ Now brand). I left the Oil on my head for 30 minutes and ended-up with extreme soreness & redness - and then the next morning awoke to 75% of my scalp in little painful blisters & pimples. Since then I've learned that Castor Oil is only meant as a "cleansing/purging" Oil and that it's not really meant as a regular use product for many people. ( It's such a thick & sticky Oil that doesn't completely absorb anyway). But, my main point is to exercise caution when trying it and don't apply on children without talking to a Doctor first!

I bought this oil to help regrow my eyebrows. The full eyebrow is very hot right now, but after years of waxing, I had been having a hard time growing my brows back to their full and thick glory. I heard that castor oil can help with hair growth. I'm not sure why, but it totally works. I've only been using it for a few weeks, but I've already noticed quite a few new hairs growing back in. As an added bonus it does not clog pores and is great on dry hands and legs too. It smells a bit nutty, but I can live with it.

Very viscous oil. I use it for my hair and it keeps it soft and seals moisture for a week. Makes skin quite supple.
The thickness helps with dry scalp/roots much more than any other oil. Also works as well as Jamaican Black Castor Oil, which is about $19 for 250ml.
The only downside is the smell for me. It smells like burnt oil, while JBCO is more like roasted, smoked nuts. The Now version, however, is much much milder.
