Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an herb that is extensively used in Ayurveda, the traditional herbal system in India. Ashwagandha is used in Herbal Medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress (e.g. in case of mental and physical fatigue related to stress).
Recommended Dosage: Adult Dosage: Mix 4 to 5 dropperfuls daily in warm water.
Caution: Consult a physician prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
