Greasy and burns eyes
GREASY and BURNS MY EYES
I'm very disappointed with this suncream. I love Garnier mineral so I wanted to try this one. I thought it would be nice to combine moisturizer and sunscreen since this is hydrating cream. Because it doesn't have oxybenzone in it, I assumed that it wouldn't burn my eyes -- WRONG! Something in it is burning my eyes. Also, it is very greasy and shiny and doesn't really absorb for hours on my face. I don't mind a glowy dewy look, but this has no pore blurring effects at all and just sat on my face.

Light on skin and does not leave a white cast!

I would apply it on my skin in the morning and it would absorb very quickly without leaving any residue or a white cast on my face. It is very gentle and did not irritate my skin at all or bother my eyes. It also layers well under makeup. The consistency is very thin so it does not feel heavy and the scent is light, compared to other sunscreens, and within a few minutes you can no longer smell the scent on your face.

Love the way my skin feels!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I use a SPF lotion daily year round so I have tried quite a few over the last couple of years. I really liked this lotion, the finish is silky, doesn’t leave a greasy shine, and it’s less tacky than the SPF lotion I currently use. This lotion absorbs into my skin fairly quickly so I can apply my makeup over it almost immediately. It says it’s fragrance free but I think I notice a scent when it’s first applied. This isn’t water resistant so I need to use a different sunscreen in the water but otherwise it’s been great for everyday use. In the couple of weeks that I’ve been using this I haven’t had any breakouts. I am very happy with how this feels on my skin and I will be switching from my current brand.

Ingredients have been changed
Okay...the ugly truth is that the scientific research shows that two to three ingredients, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (and possibly Mexoryl) are truly effective sunscreens. The other chemicals are far less effective, which means more exposure to skin cancer and wrinkles.
The problem is that both titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are thick, goopy and greasy. But they work, so I would just deal with the greasiness by touching up with powder.
The product I used last year is not available this year. The formula, 60 face (din #02280353), contained about 4% titanium dioxide, mexoryl sx and mexoryl xl and did not contain denatured alcohol. I lightly brushed some face powder over it to make it less greasy. It was perfect!
This year the ingredients have changed unfortunately. Any chance you would bring the old one back? I bought it in droves. Thanks!

Light, airy and perfect under makeup
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This tint-free sunscreen is great for those who need a weightless veil of protection for everyday wear. The liquid is easy to apply and feels like silk. I love how the formula contains vitamin E and is very gentle/non-clogging on my sensitive skin. I don't find there to be a noticeable white cast once the product has soaked in, so it truly is ideal for wearing under makeup. I apply this with a foundation brush, or my fingers. Would highly recommend especially for those with irritable skin. #freeproduct

Very lightweight, but wish it had Mexoryl
This sunscreen is very lightweight and milky. It leaves no white cast behind. It is definitely a great option for oil prone skin.
My main drawback about it however is that it does not have L'Oreal's superb Mexoryl sunscreen filters. This honestly is the main reason I stick to Ombrelle rather than go buy sunscreen from other brands. Having a photostable filter for UVA is really important to me. If L'Oreal added Mexoryl into this formulation, this would definitely be my go to sunscreen hands down.

Feel Protected

I think this SPF 60 sunscreen is the highest number I have seen out there in the market. It's lightweight and no oily feeling, at the same time my skin feels protected. I usually apply this lotion right before my makeup and reapply every two hours to make sure no sunburns through the day. I am surprised this product goes gentle on my sensitive skin and no breakouts. It's a fragrance-free lotion. #freeproduct

Light and comfortable sun protection for your face
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a great daily SPF lotion for your face. It’s light with a fluid texture that feels very comfortable and absorbs quickly. I normally wear a SPF 15 lotion everyday because I find that products with a higher SPF feel heavy and don’t absorb well, leaving some white residue on my face.
