Cute and actually waterproof
I’ve purchased rain hats here and there for my kids, mostly because they don’t like wearing the hoods on their rain jackets because they often obstruct their view. I’ve never found a rain hat that was actually waterproof (most are « water resistant » and wind up soaked in about 15 minutes) and that covered their little faces and necks (nothing like having rain drip down the back of your neck during an outing to put a damper (ha!) on the day. Enter Rainy hat! Really waterproof. Covers their whole head, face AND neck. Adorable. Comfortable, because they don’t rip it off the minute I finish tying it under their chins. And fun colours! Love it.

Perfect Rain Hat
I always expect the best from Reima, and the hat did not disappoint! Soft with some stretch, and proportioned properly for a child, best of all keeps little ears lightly covered. I especially appreciate that it is available in larger sizes, because bigger kids love to play in the rain too!
A rain hat offers better movement than a hood, and does not obscure peripheral vision, which is important for safety. A hood also leaves ears open to wind unless you put a hat underneath, but this rain hat keeps children dry and ears protected without needing an extra layer.

Rain Hat
Love the rain hat! It’s so adorable and makes my little guy look like a fire fighter. He loves wearing it too. I would've liked an adjustable clasp rather than just strings but the hat stays on even if it’s not tied. the strings are stretchy and once a knot is tied, the stings can just be stretched over the head so it remains tied. Bought a size medium(6-7) for my 6 year old and it’ll fit him next year too.

Very cute hat but runs small
Grandchild is 3 bought 3-4 yr size didn’t fit at all
5-6 yr perfect . . just keep that in mind
The hat is well made … Ear flaps lined with soft fabric
Hat ties have a slight stretch
Front brim can be folded up
It’s a perfect hat for our rainy west coast

Great rain hats for littles!
I love the kids rain hats. True to size and the ear flaps have a soft lining that keep ears covered from the wind and rain when the strings are tied. I will be adding a cord lock so my kids can easily tighten the strings without having to tie them.

Rainy Day Hat
The actual hat is good and does what it’s suppose to. Great back coverage. Great front coverage. I’d say definitely size up. I’m not a big fan of the strings. It’s hard for a little child tie. Once tied it does not have a choking hazard snap. H

Beautiful rain hat
