I chose Candy Apple as my first purchase of this lip butter. The first layer was very sheer, but subsequent layers built up to be considerably more opaque, though still a touch sheer. Built up, Candy Apple is quite bright on my complexion (I'm a very pale brunette, with natural "Snow White" colouring), and is perhaps not suitable for everyday use, unless you like that kind of boldness! It's very moisturizing, but it tends to not stay in place for me when it's fresh. It does eventually dry, and when it does it stays in place much better.
Overall, a decent product at a very good price, but not one I'd use every day.

For context, I'm brown-skinned, my lips are dark on top, pink on the bottom. I wanted something that felt like lip balm but added some colour. Tried the Pink Truffle... a lot sheerer than I expected from pictures I saw online, even with two coats. Felt great though, will try a different colour next time.

I love this product. I have three of them: Creme Brulee, Cherry Tart, and Peach Parfait. Cherry Tart is all right, but the other two are stellar. They're moisturizing, and enough of a pop of colour. Creme Brulee is great for work, or for smoky eyes/heavier eye makeup. Peach Parfait looks great when I wear corals, peaches, even reds. It's very flattering. The longevity isn't great for these, but they last for long enough.
