Not what I was expecting: Heavy musk and cedarwood scents with very mild exfoliation.
SIDIA's "The Hand Exfoliant Soaked" looks nice with its sleek packaging and with it being a Canadian company, I was motivated to buy it. However, I should have known better than to order something based on the *description of a scent rather than trying it in person. I was expecting something more similar to Aesop's hand soap. Unfortunately, the best way I can describe this is like a heavily-scented men's stick deodorant. The musk and cedarwood scents are prominent and distinct. It's very woodsy and masculine. The exfoliant is gentle. It's OK but nothing special, in my opinion, and my hands didn't feel any different after washing. At $54 with tax, a bottle size of 280 ml, and a scent I find quite off-putting, I will not be repurchasing. Also, the pump was very tricky and took it many attempts to get the spout to release.
