Difficult to remove
I bought this lid to replace an older one that no longer kept a seal. This lid is shaped a little different, the lip is deeper than the old one so it took a little time to adjust so that I no longer drooled my coffee (lol). It has a very strong seal which is great until it comes time to remove it. You need to put a little muscle into it. Maybe the old mug is shaped differently. Not sure. Bottom line, it works fine but is a hassle to remove.
