These are only guidelines - your individual dog's needs will vary with age, breed and activity level. They suggest dividing the amounts below into two servings and always providing clean water.

Up to 10 lbs. 1/4 - 3/4 cups for less active dogs, 1/4 - 1 cup for active dogs
11 to 20 lbs. 3/4 - 1 1/4 cups for less active dogs, 1 - 1 1/2 cups for active dogs
21 to 30 lbs. 1 1/4 - 1 3/4 cups for less active dogs, 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 for active dogs
31 to 40 lbs. 1 3/4 - 2 cups for less active dogs, 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 for active dogs
41 to 50 lbs. 2 - 2 1/2 cups for less active dogs, 2 3/4 - 3 1/4 cups for active dogs
51 to 70 lbs. 2 1/2 - 3 cups for less active dogs, 3 1/4 - 4 cups for active dogs
71 to 90 lbs. 3 - 3 3/4 cups for less active dogs, 4 - 5 cups for active dogs
For dogs over 90 lbs. add 3/4 cup per each additional 10 lbs. body weight.
