Description
Organic Heartburn Soother is an herbal tea traditionally used in herbal
medicine as a demulcent to soothe irritation and inflammation of the
gastrointestinal tract.
Recommended dose: Adults: Drink 1 cup (2 tea bags) three times a day.
Directions of Use: Pour 240 ml of freshly boiled water over 2 tea bags in a cup and steep, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bags to release the remaining extractive.
Duration of use: If the symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks during the use of this product, a doctor or a qualified health care practitioner should be consulted.
Medicinal ingredients: Each tea bag (1.5g) contains: organic marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) 750 mg, organic marshmallow leaf (Althaea officinalis) 450 mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic spearmint leaf (Mentha spicata)*.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity is known to occur in which case discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Warnings: Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is not recommended. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are presently taking a prescription drug. The intestinal absorption of some drugs may be delayed by the concomitant ingestion of herbal teas containing marshmallow leaf or root. For this reason, this herbal tea should not be taken within ½ to 1 hour before or after intake of other medicinal products.
