Description
The Weleda Lavender Relaxing Body and Beauty Oil soothes the senses and the skin, and helps unwind tension. Extracts of transitional organic Lavender mixes with organic sesame oil and sweet almond oil, helping you to prepare for a peaceful night's sleep.
Directions: Use daily after a shower or bath. Apply a small amount of the WELEDA Body Oil onto moist skin and rub in a circular motion (always towards the heart) until it is absorbed. If necessary, rub vigorously. If varicose veins are present, allow the oils to penetrate without rubbing.

I first learned about Weleda's bath products from a relative in Germany I fell in love, but could not find the products anywhere. Well.ca was the first place that carried them. I put the oil directly onto my skin after showers, and I like the citrus ones when I take a shower in the morning, but wanted something more relaxing for evening showers. This lavender one is definitely it. The smell is like real lavender, not like a lot of other bath products that have a synthetic smell behind them. The oil is rich, absorbs well, smells delicious, and is so relaxing in the evening. I currently have a five month old baby, and he too is calmed down at night when he cuddles up against me after I have put this oil on, it was a nice unexpected benefit. I hope Well keeps carrying them because it's one of my main reasons to keep coming back! Love, love, love all Weleda bath products, but particularly love this one.

Not bad as a moisturiser, but the scent doesn't last very long, and takes more than it does Neutrogena Sesame oil to moisturise after a shower. However, I have sensitive skin, and it hasn't made me break out, so that's a plus

Very relaxing
I love this product, I use it after using the lavender bath milk as my go-to routine when I need to relax. It's a great alternative to moisturiser, as it soaks into the skin easily without feeling greasy. I also use it as a massage oil for my legs, shoulders and neck when they're feeling a bit sore.

I love this product, especially the smell and the smooth silky feeling my skin has after using it. I don't recommend using it for this purpose, but it is mild enough to remove eye makeup at a pinch.

Perfect for night time
I rub this oil in my chest every night before I go to bed. The oil absorbs really quickly and your left with a light scent that you can drift off to sleep with. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

Absorbs well
This oil absorbs really well into the skin when used right before bed, but i would have preferred a stronger scent as I'm used to using undiluted lavender essential oil

This was the first summer I didn't develop alligator skin in spite of using various lotions. I exfoliate in the shower, then put in on. Love the fragrance!
