Do not put in dishwasher on high heat!!!
Great lunch box for older kids too!!!!
I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher and the seal melted. I should have know better and too bad the seal can’t be replaced because it’s pretty much useless now and a waste. Don’t want it ending up in the landfill.
Would be great with option to replace seal because it is a super sturdy but didn’t get the usage I expected.
Moral of the story? Don’t put in dishwasher and it will last years!

I wish I liked it more…
The box is a little too big for my junior kids (age 6-9) and their lunch bags. The rubber (?) spill proof thing on the lid deformed after running through a cycle in the dishwasher and the hinges broke after a few months. My second-hand yumbox score much higher in both categories and I would recommend Yumbox over Bentigo for anyone looking for a new lunchbox for their littles.

Good Quality!
Previously I had problems with containers for my daughter as they were not durable enough and kept breaking. This Bento lunch box is being great so far. The quality is very good. Insulation is perfect, no leaks. I wash only the internal detachable part of the container in the dishwasher as per the instructions. It looks like this lunch box will be long lasting.
