Never change this Formula
I've been using Burts Bees balms since childhood, cause I just have dry chapped lips since I was a kid. And the Pomegranate is my favorite. I always have one around. I find this formula a little creamier and it "sticks" to my lip without slipping around as opposed to the Vanilla Bean and Coconut & Pear (which I like the smell but the chapstick formula is different and more slippery so it doesn't work as a deep moisturizing balm). Please never change this, not even to alter the fragrance cause it is too perfect! And personally I don't mind the Pomegranate scent. It isn't overpowering - but if it's not for you just move on to another balm like the Honey which is also great for deep moisturization (and stop saying this needs to be changed please!).

New formula :(((
If you know me you’d know that I love pomegranate burts bees and always keep one in my pocket, like always. Sadly though they’ve changed the formula and the scent is significantly worse. Don’t think I can use any of my new sticks because the smell is just awful.

Best all around lip balm on the market!!
I have been using Burts Bees Lip balms for years. Started out with the original one, which i loved and never went to any other brand after that. Have tried several of the different flavours and i find pomegranate is by far my favourite for how effectively it works. Not greasy, never dries out in the tube or crumbles, very smooth. Its light enough to wear under my lipstick, but works fantastic on the driest, chapped lips. Shouldn't be sharing this but, during bad colds, i use it around the outside of my nose when your skin gets raw from blowing and it is fabulous.....no stinging or pain! Both my grown kids have always used it and now their boyfriends are hooked as well. It works so well that the men don't care that it has a pink cap and looks like pink chapstick, which by the way it is not pink when put on. In the summer on the beach i use the burts lip balm that has the spf and it works great!

allergy to some of the ingredients.
This product was great up until a few years ago but I don't use it anymore, my husband is using up my supply.( he doesn't seem to have a problem with it.) Was the ingredient list changed? I have developed a bad case of contact dermatitis since about September. Ended up changing a few of the products I use, and have discovered that one of the culprits is limonene/linalool that I seem to be allergic to. Found an old tube of this chapstick and looked at the ingredient list and both Limonene and Linalool are on it. Were these used in this product 3+ years ago? Do you have any products with out these ingredients in them? I use plain Vaseline now, messy and not very portable. As for the other reviewers that are complaining about this product could be the same culprit, I was getting very very dry lips and outbreaks mostly at the corners of my mouth when I used to
use this.

Love it!!
I was looking for a good lip balm and decided on the pomegranate because I've heard it's very moisturizing and good for the skin. I don't choose lip balm based on flavor or taste as I'm not eating it, but rather what's healthiest and most effective. I LOVE this stuff, and so happy I bought it. My lips are so healthy and moist and for those that taste is important, it's mild, almost tasteless with a slight fruitiness. Love this product as with all burt's bees products I've tried.

New formula of Pomegranate Lip Balm?
Used to be my favorite lip balm but something has changed. The smell, the taste, and how it feels on the lips is nothing like it used to be. I really don’t like it anymore. It’s awful. Has me searching for a new good lip balm now. Really frustrating

I bought my first Burt's Bees lip balm a couple of months ago. I liked how it moisturised my lips during the cold winters. I lost the one I had so I bought this one. My first lip balm was Wild Cherry and it did not tint my lips. But, a couple of weeks ago, I bought the Pomegranate one expecting it to not tint my lips. But then I put it on and it kind of looks like I put on a tinted lip balm. I read the description of this and it said that this was a tint free lip balm. I still love the lip balm and how it works but I don't really like how it tinted my lips.

My fav lip balm !
I keep multiple lip balms in my bag, car and at home, live in a dry Canadian climate and this is my favourite ! Goes on smoothly, moisturizes well, great alone or under lip stick, not sticky or waxy, gives a slight hint of natural looking colour to the lips, it’s hands down the absolute best !
