Way Too Much Coconut Oil.
NESTERS Purchase in Vancouver.
When I first checked the ingredients list I was impressed by how clean it was.
So, I decided to try the Classic Spice.
The first thing I noticed was that there was an aftertaste, an odd one. Tried a few more chips and realized it's the Coconut Oil. Understandable because it's cooked in Coconut Oil. One of the healthy reasons I decided to purchase them over all the other options.
However, the aftertaste of the Coconut Oil was really strong and overpowered the chip. Also, it didn't blend with the rest of the flavours.
Ok...imaging this.....
Take a chip that's rather oily, chew it and with the last chew you take a big Spoon full of Coconut Oil and swallow.
That's what it tasted like to me. Too oily and way too much Coconut Oil that wasn't infused in the chip.
It's a shame because the ingredients are healthy and it's a Canadian family owned business which I would've loved to have supported, if only it tasted better.

My new favourite snack
After I received a sample in one of my Well orders, I immediately ordered two bags. Flakey and rich tasting, and the perfect amount of spice to give them a tad of heat. One bag provides about 3-4 servings.

Buttery Flavour
These chips are delicious and have such a buttery flavour and great crunch! A bit if a spice kick but not too strong. I could not just eat one!
