Ingredients are very considerate. Not sure what the company could possibly improve. Quit complaining.
I have used both Eco-Max orange and lavender and prefer the lavender. The scent seems to last on clothes a little bit, the lavender essential oil seems to stick around better (especially when you're warming up by the campfire or something and get that nice clean laundry smell from your jeans?!) whereas with the orange it smells nice while washing but that's about it. I'm not sure what all the negativity is about. It literally smells like lavender from a lavender farm. There's no palm oil. Its claim is it's safe for aquatic species. I live on a well and near the Trent Severn Waterway so that's important to me. Sometimes I use it as an ingredient in even cheaper homemade detergent with washing soda but you really can't beat the price of the 3L. I've had no skin reactions, headaches or restricted throat/sinuses to using this. If you don't like lavender get the other one. If you're sensitive or allergic to essential oils get the unscented. Nothing wrong with this soap.

Great detergent. Cleans well and leaves a subtle lavender smell in my clothes and sheets.

Total disappointment
Usually this brand has great products but not this laundry soap. First while I do like lavendar, the smell of this one is like artificial lavender on steroids and gave me headaches. Secondly it is very difficult to remove the soap even with more than two rinse cycles and I only used the minimum amount. Third it did not clean the white laundry items very well at all. I ended up giving it away and won’t buy this laundry soap again.

Not for HE machines!
Despite the manufacturer's claim, this is not suitable for HE washing machines. I used only half a teaspoon but it still created a massive amount of suds that refused to rinse out, even after four extra rinses.
