Best Hostess Gift
These have been a favourite in my family for years. Take a small round of brie and with a small knife cut off the top rind. Place brie cut-side up on parchment-lined baking sheet. In a small bowl, microwave a couple of tablespoons of butter and stir in mix. Sprinkle brie with topping and bake 15-20 minutes. Brie will be gooey and the topping is caramelized. Serve with crackers for spreading. Amazing fast appetizer. Great for stockings for adults or for hostess gifts when packaged in cellophane bags with the brie. There are maple and pecan flavours, too.
