White cast 101
I bought this and have tried it three times, each time I have had a very noticeable white cast left on my face to the extent that I actually don't think I will be able to continue using the product. I have bought sunscreen from this company before and had a much better experience with that product, but this one is not one that I would recommend. It also immediately made my face start beading with sweat which was a strange and unique experience.

Exactly as it should be tbh
Honestly, I see all the other reviews about the white cast. You get that with any mineral sunscreen due to how it works.. that being said and knowing that I expected the white cast. I don't mind this sunscreen at all.

Leaves white tint on face
First time I used it this morning and it left a noticeable white tint on my face. It's been over an hour and it's still noticeable.

Not Face Value
I echo all comments below; I too purchased “Face” sunscreen expecting it to be suitable for your face; I don’t understand why it is marketed as such when it leaves a thick white layer on your skin; quite unattractive for the face. Cannot wear this on my face, I will have to choose a different brand. Very disappointed and feeling cheated.

Milky haze
This product leaves a milky, white haze on the skin. No matter how much I rub, it leaves a white haze on the face. This product should state its suited for lighter skin tones. Also does not hydrate at all... its a thick cream. Very heavy on the skin. I emailed customer support and awaiting their response.

Terrible smell
I don't mind the white cast (you just have to rub it in more thoroughly) but it has a terrible burning rubber smell that clings. I bought this because it was the only unperfumed option available at the time, but I'm definitely going back to the regular Ombrelle face sunscreen.

Allergic face rash
I bought this because it said it was suitable for sensitive skin, but it made my face itch and burn after 2 days of use and I have now developed a sore scaly rash on my cheeks and forehead. It also produces a strong white-cast that doesn't go away throughout the day.

This face version doesn't work well under makeup
This face version of the mineral sunscreen doesn't work at all under makeup like the body version does.. I just hope you didn't change the body version of the sunscreen as I really loved it and it worked really well as a primer under my makeup
