SEO Specialist

Job Description:

Well.ca, Canada's online store for health, beauty and baby essentials, is seeking a SEO Specialist to work with our Marketing team in our Toronto, Ontario office. This position will own and be the subject matter expert for SEO as well as all other acquisition channels. You must be able to work under tight deadlines, fast pace environment within a team atmosphere!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the growth of the SEO as well as other acquisition channels
• Conduct keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
• Implement link building campaigns to acquire more website traffic and increase domain/page authority
• Conduct analysis to uncover on-page SEO strategies (including improving site speed, optimizing title tags and meta descriptions, fixing duplicate or thin content) and execute A/B testing to roll out improvements
• Resolve crawl errors and optimize xml sitemap to increase crawl to index ratio
• Manage paid online marketing programs - Affiliate, SEM, Paid Facebook, Partnerships, Display and other PPC programs in order to acquire new customers, increase retention and drive sales.
• Manage relationships with digital agencies
• Brief ad creative for all assets required to support acquisition programs.
• Benchmark and track performance to outlined KPIs
• Compile and summarize weekly/monthly campaign results
• Other projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of SEO experience as well as Affiliates, PPC ads, Google, Yahoo/Bing, Facebook ads, Remarketing, Display Ads and other online acquisition channels
• Diploma, certification or degree in business/marketing/online/digital marketing/new media.
• Familiarity with SEO and Digital Marketing tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Search Console , Google Tag Manager, Moz, SEMrush, etc)
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Experience with digital reporting, tracking and analytics
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Excellent oral and written skills
• An interest in customer acquisition/growth marketing and the role it plays in e-commerce
