The BabyBjorn Bouncer Balance Soft is one of BabyBjorn's most beloved
products. The bouncer is a beloved classic in a soft and modern design
which naturally rocks your baby.
BabyBjorn Bouncer Balance Soft can be used as both a bouncer and a comfy chair. From the time your baby is newborn (at least 8 lbs/3.5kg) and until she or he has learned to sit up unaided, it can be used as a bouncer. When your child has learned to walk and sit independently, you can reverse the fabric to create a comfortable child’s chair (up to 29 lbs/13kg or approximately 2 years of age).

When the product is used as a bouncer, the maximum weight is 20 lbs/9 kg according to European Standard EN12790:2009. BabyBjorn therefore recommends the following maximum weights per position:
A. Highest position "Play" up to 20 lbs / 9 kg
B. Medium position "Rest" up to 20 lbs / 9 kg
C. Lowest position "Sleep" up to 15.5 lbs / 7 kg
D. Transportation mode - when the product is not being used
When the product is being used as a chair, BabyBjorn recommends the following maximum weights per position:

B. Medium position "Rest" up to 22 lbs / 10 kg

The fabrics in the bouncer are tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. This guarantees that the fabric is free from harmful and allergenic substances. This product also fulfills the requirements of both European and American safety standards.

Lots of room for improvement and value for money
Considering the price and brand reputation, the bouncer is disappointing. It’s good enough, and seems to the best option for healthy spines (some bouncers REALLY quash the baby, this one still compresses the throat a little bit still far better than anything else available).
The clips are the most finicky clips they could have picked. Seriously - we and others we know that have these bouncers admit to just not using them at all. The edge where the legs go over could also be better - like slightly cushioned.
Again, still best manual bouncer out there, but very disappointing considering the price.

Trust me this is worth every penny. The only place I can put my clingy 3 month old and eat/do chores without her crying. She loves being in her bouncer!!

Simple design
Fantastic seat/bouncer, I love the adjustable angles, folds up to be easily put away. Handy for when you need your hands but your baby wants to look around.

First Time Parents
We're first time parents and of course were overwhelmed with all the options out there. I'm glad we bought this bouncer. Our baby is very content and super comfortable. It also gives him a break from his play gym. Its super easy and light weight to move around the house. I also love that there are no cords/electricity, but that does mean we do need to bounce him every now and then.

Bjorn Bouncer is the best!!!
Bought the bouncer for my daughter and daughter-In-law recently. My daughter said it’s an absolute life saver and her baby absolutely loves it! Our our newborn at 3 weeks loves it too. Her sisters can gently bounce her helping mom out during fussy times.

Our 6 week baby is slowly enjoying this more and more! It’s a great help when he’s awake and I need two free hands. It’s light so easy to move around the house. The fabric is very soft.
