Benylin Cold and Sinus Day and Night Caplets are convenient and portable caplets that will have you feeling your best in no time!
CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough
medicine to seriously harm a child. Use only on the advice of a doctor.
Avoid alcohol. Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have
chronic alcoholism, serious kidney or liver disease, high blood
pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, chronic lung disease,
glaucoma or difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate
gland, or are elderly, pregnant, breast feeding, or taking a drug for
depression, including monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor drugs. Consult a
doctor if the underlying condition requires continued use for more than
5 days or if you also have a fever. It is hazardous to take more than
the maximum recommended dose unless advised by a doctor. Nervousness,
dizziness, or sleeplessness may occur at higher doses. In case of
accidental overdose, contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre
immediately.

Medicinal Ingredients:
Day Tablets: Acetominophen (analgesic) 500 mg, Phenylphrine Hydrochloride (decongestant) 5 mg.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Cellulose,
corn starch, D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Blue
No. 2, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 6, hypromellose, iron
oxide black, magnesium stearate, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol,
sodium starch slycolate, titanium dioxide, triacetin, wax.
Day Tablets: Acetominophen (analgesic) 500 mg, Phenylphrine Hydrochloride (decongestant) 5 mg.
Night Tablets: Acetominophen (analgesic)500 mg, Phenylphrine Hydrochloride (decongestant) 5 mg, Clorpheniramine Maleate
(antihistamine) 2 mg.

Contains ineffective phenylephrine hydrochloride
FDA has advised that that while phenylephrine hydrochloride is effective when used as a nose spray, it is ineffective when taken orally as the stomach destroys 99% of its effectiveness.

Not as effective as ecpected
I have a persistent cold and I ´m still coughing with runny nose and headache due to sinus. As I trust Benylin with the syrop, I thought I would but the pills format for night and day. Unfortunately, I don’t experience the expected results. My nose still runs, headache due to sinus issues. Usually I respond well to this type of medication and I can function quite normally. This is not the case this time.
I’ll return to another brand .

Persistent headache
Took 2 of the daytime pills when I was sick and felt a headache coming. They didn’t work at all and I had to suffer with my headache until I could take other pills.
