I LOVE this stuff- yes, "love" is a strong word, typically reserved for describing my feelings towards say, my daughter, BUT saying I REALLY REALLY REALLY like this doesn't seem to suffice. I've tried numerous products from this brand and have yet to be disappointed, or even "meh"-ed. Everything smells and feels amazing, this being no exception, and I super appreciate the company's commitment to stewardship-vegan, cruelty free, absent of nasty chemicals, etc. What differentiates this particular lotion from the other amazing cake ones I've tried (and also loved), is the consistency- it's extra thick in the best way. I feel so "ahhhhhhhh" when I use this; it's my pamper self jam. (The handcream version is also :100:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lotion! Wonderful Smell! People are complaining about how hard it is to get out of the tube. I have eventually cut the bottom of the tub with scissors and used a “spatula daddy” to get it all out and then put it in my own small jar . Problem solved and you get every last drop! Worth the trouble bc it’s that great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A staple in my body care arsenal! This smells absolutely divine. I’m a body cream addict that has tried a ton of products and Heavy Cream is easily the best of them all. It’s a great heavy duty moisturizer, doesn’t sit on the skin but absorbs quickly and makes it feel hydrated and silky. And the feeling lasts, too â€" I don’t have to reapply until my next shower, which is not the case with most other creams. I like that it doesn’t feel greasy after application. I also use it as a hand cream, especially when my hands need a little extra TLC. I carry a travel size in my purse and keep one in my car, and sometimes take them out just to smell. :) I can’t get enough of the delicious scent. Love that it’s parabenâ€" and crueltyâ€"free (both are very important to me).

That's the review title I'd use if I was eating this stuff (which of course I'm not and you shouldn't either); it's just that the stuff is so thick and creamy and smells SO RIDICULOUSLY WONDERFUL, it could be cake frosting. If it were edible. Which it's not. As always, love that it's made in Canada, love the responsible ingredients, love the results. My skin thanks you. I smell fabulous. The only problem is deciding which product to use since I've become a collector of all things Cake.

It is so thick (like gotta work to get it out of the tube) and rich and decadent smelling. I feel like I'm using a seriously expensive product and I'm addicted to the smell. It lasts all day without being "perfumy". I wear this every day and it has replaced a lot of products i used regularly for years. This is an all in one for me, i don't even wear body sprays or perfumes anymore. Since I started using this people are always wondering what delicious smell they are smelling, or complimenting me on how good I smell. I have relatively sensitive skin (eczema and contact dermatitis) but this does nothing but soothe my skin and make it so happy. I have always battled "chicken bumps" on my legs and upper arms and no exaggeration they are GONE. Some could say it is a bit heavy but it's IN THE NAME so thst should be expected in my opinion. I personally love the way it feels on my skin, I feel like it's quenched and that it works all day long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for super dry cracked hands My hands are in water all day and the skin cracks and bleeds and nothing has ever seemed to help until this! Got a sample in my Ipsy bag and fell in love! I keep it in my purse and on my coffee table. Initially I used it multiple times a day until my hands healed even with being in water every day. Now once a day to twice a day keeps my hands from cracking and bleeding.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells great but too thick for me The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is due to its thickness, its too hard to squeeze out of the tube. It then took some effort to smooth over my skin. So this cream isn't my thing due to those reasons for a person my age haha. I did find another Cake Beauty product to use in its place though so not all is lost! On the plus side, it does smell amazing and is very nourishing. So its a good product for many out there, just not me. Thank you!
