CeraVe SA Cleanser provides gentle, non-irritating exfoliation without harsh microbeads or grains that can scratch or injure the skin. In addition to effectively cleanse the skin to remove oil, dirt and makeup, this multi-tasking product also helps sweep away dead cells, improves dryness and softens rough skin.
Directions: Wet skin with lukewarm water. Massage cleanser into skin in a gentle, circular motion. Rinse. Use alone or with CeraVe moisturizers.

Amazing for acne prone, dry skin!!
I bought this product just over a month ago! I have very dry skin and have eczema but my skin also breaks out very easily. Since I started using this product my skin has become more hydrated, less dry and doesn't flake anymore. I wear makeup and could never use any powder products because of my dry skin, and my skin would start to flake throughout the day. About a week ago I noticed that I am now able to not only use powder products, but have to touch up throughout the day!! It has helped with reducing my breakouts as well. I highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for an exfoliator that isn't too harsh, want to reduce acne and/or have dry skin! In my experience, my skin never felt overly stripped after use.

so good for breakouts!
this cleanser is a MIRACLE. i used to have pimples all over my forehead and my cheeks, but now, they are almost completely gone! I haven't had any major pimples on my forehead ever since i got this product. I noticed a significant difference after only a week of using it. the redness had gone down, and my forehead was basically rid of all pimples. plus, this cleanser is SO gentle. i use it twice a day - once in the morning and once in the evening, and it has not irritated or dried out my skin. i strongly recommend this cleanser for anyone with breakouts!!

Incredible value with 500ml SA Cleaser.
I love this cleaser so much. I use it for my face mostly but I also use it for my back and underarms as well. I have very oily face so this is perfect for me. Although for people with more dry skin and very sensitive skin should be careful using it too often. Especially when you're already using other exfoliating products like glycolic acid. I like use once every other day since I use other more powerful exfoliating products.
Love the smell too personally despite being fragrance free.
I highly recommend buying the 500ml or whatever the biggest version of this cleaser in the future for best value.

Not for sensitive skin!!
If you have sensitive skin I would not purchase this cleanser. I bought it a couple days ago to help deal with my acne and clogged pores but as soon as I rubbed it on my face I felt burning and it left my skin red and irritated all night and even the next morning. I also have oily skin but this made my skin feel extremely dry and tight. If you don’t have sensitive skin maybe give it a try but still I would not recommend it especially not for anyone with sensitive skin. Also keep in mind this could be a personal irritation to salicylic acid as I’ve never tried anything with it before now

Perfect for dry, acne-prone skin!
It took about 2.5 weeks of acne purging to really notice a difference, but I am so glad I stuck it out. My breakouts are primarily whiteheads now, with the odd small pimple, and they take a few days at most to clear up, when they would have taken 1-2+ weeks before. It seems impossible to find acne products that also cater to dry skin, but this fits the bill. It pairs well with the Moisturizing Cream for normal to dry skin. It didn't do much for my blackheads, but those don't bother me (maybe try retinol if that is your main concern). Solid 5 stars; would definitely recommend!

Also works great for body (KP or body odour)
I started using this about a year ago, as a body cleanser, after a bunch of other body cleansers kept drying out my skin. my KP on the back of my legs and back was getting bad again, and I was also told by my derm to try this for the armpits to help with body odour/pimples. I know this is meant for the face, but I use this as a body cleanser as my body skin has similar issues to my face like pimples, bumps etc. luckily this worked out really well for me, and it helped reduce the KP bumps and I've noticed I barely have BO anymore since using this regularly as a body cleanser. I also get way less body pimples now too. very cost-effective, and since I also have eczema and asthma, the fragrance free is also amazing. very happy with this product!

Ruined my Skin, my self-esteem doesn't exist anymo
I saw that the SA Cleanser was promising so I gave it a shot. Worst mistake, I had previously finally achieved such a smooth skin with little pores and nice texture (not dry not oily) and exempt of breakouts. Since the first use, my skin felt squeaky clean but soon after I had the most oil production I've ever had in my life. Now my skin looks greasy, I have little bumps everywhere and since my skin is oily looking my pores look HUGE. I'll stick to the Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser, it's a thousand time better.

Formula Change/Bad Batch?
I bought a new bottle to replace the one I had been using for over a year. But I notice it hasn't had an instant effect like it used to. Before, it used to dry out forrming pimples and shrink them right away. One use was enough to shrink a pimple and smoothe skin. I could tell it had salicylic acid because it would make my skin tingle and slightly burn. But this new bottle, it feels like there is no salicylic acid at all. It feels like the gentle cleanser. And I'm not sure it's shrinking present pimples.
