The old packing and formula were a hit. It was the only formula that was consistent and had natural highlights. The new boxes with the pink flowers look like a feminine hygiene product, not hair product. Even the models on the boxes have solid color hair with no highlights. Looks like a wig and what my grandmother's hair used to look like. Dull and solid colors that everyone can tell is hair dye. Bad marketing and bad product development. Tell your executive team to listen to the market. Read all the comments. Everyone is telling you to go back to the old formula.

Dark, flat, not what was advertised.
6r light auburn. My hair was already at a light auburn, a bit more copper. Haven’t colored it in 4 months.. I used this color and what I got is FLAT boring WAYYY too dark “auburn”. You can barely see any of the red tones. I researched what I needed and this was a supreme let down. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who actually wants copper/light auburn hair. I’m absolutely devastated at my color result (even though it doesn’t look terrible it’s still NOTHING like I wanted.)

Beautiful Mocha Shade from Clairol
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Even though most hair dyes dry my hair, this Nice’n Easy dye left my hair pigmented yet soft to the touch. It comes with a pre colour serum that helps to purify hair from metal buildup. This extra step was a very nice touch to my colouring routine. In addition, I found the intense treatment to be very effective in preserving the health of my hair. Overall, I highly recommend the Clairol Nice’n Easy Pure Brunettes hair colouring system in the colour deep mocha brown. I look forward to testing out other shades from this brand.

It is nice and easy
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very easy to use, clear instructions and the pre treatment was a nice added bonus but it only comes with enough to do the roots. I had enough colour to do my entire head which was great, my hair is long.
One thing to note- the colour was less pigmented then I thought it would be though - I posted a before and after picture and I thought the colour would be more red-brown. Seems kinda just brown to me.
My hair felt soft and silky after use, the odour of the colour was essentially like others. Not horribly strong.
Overall I would use this again but I think I would be more selective on the colour.

Truly Nice’N Easy!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Although I’m naturally a brunette, I wanted to try a different shade for fun! I absolutely loved using Nice’N Easy Pure Brunettes as it was very easy to use and didn’t give me any reaction. I’ve noticed that other hair dyes sometimes cause redness or itchiness, but thankfully that didn’t happen with this product. Being a curly haired girl, I limit how often I dye my hair as well as minimize any heat, and I didn’t notice any damage with this hair dye. Overall, I would’ve given it a 5/5 if it was a bit more hydrating, but I still really loved it and would definitely repurchase.

Off to a Rocky Start
When I went to purchase the product I saw there was new packaging with new numbering. It didn't list the old number equivalent, so it took a few minutes to figure out what would be the closest to the one I was used to.
I used the new product tonight and as I was putting it on my hair, I noticed a very strong, floral type smell - took me a minute to realize that was my hair. The smell is a very strong, unnatural, perfume type floral smell. I have to ask that you change the smell.
I'll have to wait to see if I get the same coverage time as with the old formula. Will let you know.
And what is Coty? The review form asks if I would recommend Coty to a friend?

Darker than expected - brown to black
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got my dye in the shade 4pb deep mocha brown. I was really intrigued that this kit included a metal detox serum - I've never seen that before! However, because I applied the serum too close to when I applied the dye, I suspect that may be the reason why I have some patches where the coverage isn't great. This could be user error though. The dye itself doesn't have a horrible scent which is great, but beware when applying, I found that it really stained my skin. Box doesn't include gloves, nor does it include a brush. Overall a good hair dye, and one I would use again.

My go to dye
I’ve been box dying my hair for 14 years, and Clairol is by far the best i’ve tried! Because I only dye black, I can use just about any black dye and get the same results-colour wise, anyway. Clairol is my GO TO. It always leaves my hair feeling so much softer and healthier. I look forward to my dye day because my hair is going to look as gorgeous as it possibly can for at least a week after. (The color lasts forever it’s just my roots grow out). I don’t know how but my hair comes out healthier and shinier than it does with professional treatments just by dying it!
