Formula Changed!
I've been using this mineral sunscreen for years. This is the only one that works for my super sensitive skin, but the new one I've just bought few days ago is so different from the old ones I had. It's a bit thicker & goes on smoothly but then I'm having my dermatitis back. I still have a little bit left of the old one & I compared a drop of each on my hand, & it's totally different formula! I'm so heartbroken. Just like they did on the Almost Powder Makeup. Clinique just keeps on ruining their products over the years since 2005 that I've used them. Clinique please bring back the old formula on this mineral sunscreen, as well as bring back the mineral Almost Powder Make-up SPF15!

Doesn't make my skin oily
I am very happy with this purchase. I have to use Mineral Sunscreen as I break in tiny red bumps and my face gets rashes with regular sunscreen with oxybenzone , avobezone or octisalate. They are chemicals. This sunscreen from Clinique has just zinc and titanium dioxide which are minerals. It does cast a bit of a sheen on the face, but it's more a healthy sheen opposes to oily sheen. I only gave 4 stars because I wish it was a tinted mineral sunscreen instead. The whiteness does go away after you blend it in your skin. It wore well all day and no oil or my pores looking big after a few hours. It did not clog my pores. I am very happy with this and glad it is 50 SPF. Powder makeup goes well on top .

Fantastic everyday sunscreen
Mineral sunscreens are a game-changer when it comes to actually wearing sunscreen every day. This product is light and easy to apply. Does not leave any trace of a white cast. Does not make your skin look oily or greasy. I have always found it difficult to wear sunscreen everyday because, let's face it, sunscreen is awful to apply, smells unpleasant and usually doesn't work with makeup. This formulation is fantastic - easy to apply, no odour and works well with makeup. A new favourite!

Product has salicylates
This product works well. It does not last a very long time though. It is a very small bottle. Also, I purchased it in order to be as natural as possible (compared to chemical sunscreens). My doctor does not recommend salicylates for me. I then loved the CityBlock sunscreen that seems to have chemicals my skin can tolerate, but they no longer carry it (or no longer available on site). I used to use Clinique almost exclusively, but I am slowly replacing products as they are no longer carrying items that worked for me. Also, I am discovering other brands.

White Residue
After reading the reviews, and trying countless other facial sunscreens, I hoped I had found the one for me but nope, this one was no different. It did go on white and melted in or so I thought. Several hours after applying I glanced in the mirror and noticed that the white sunscreen was still in the shallow wrinkles creating white lines on my face! I'll finish the bottle but will only wear it when I don't anticipate running into anyone. The white lines on my face are not a pretty sight. Had I tried a sample of this product, I would never have bought it.

Chalky, white appearance
This sunscreen leaves quite a white cast on the face after application of a proper amount of sunscreen (3 fingers for example). Unfortunately, this is to be expected with a mineral sunscreen. The actual protection of this sunscreen was great though. I am extremely pale and cool toned and noticed a white cast on myself, I am not confident this would look good on someone with any semblance of colour in their skin.

great for sensitive skin!
for most of my life I have had allergic reactions to most sunscreens and I developed a fear of using them because of irritation it would cause. after having a lot of success with Clinique skincare products, I decided to try this on my face. it worked out really well for me! a little goes a long way, it's easy to spread, and actually quite moisturizing, so if you have oily or combo skin you can probably get away with a lighter moisturizer underneath this sunscreen. it does feel a tiny bit heavy on my face probably because it has higher SPF, but it didn't cause me any irritation or breakouts. although, a note for those with a darker complexion, it will leave a white cast on your skin. I have light slightly warm toned skin, and I did notice a bit of white cast on my face, especially around my eyebrows since I have dark hair. it took around 10 minutes after I massaged it in for the sunscreen to set and then the white cast decreased a bit and it wasn't too noticeable. it doesn't bother me too much so I'll definitely finish the bottle. it's fragrance free which is a HUGE plus for me :)

Wonders for sensitive skin
I have skin that's dry, sensitive, and prone to blemishes and redness. Dermatologist recommended to use sunscreen with spf 50. Tried several department store brands and they all made my skin break out! So I decided to spend a bit more for better sunscreen. This one is it. It's so lightweight and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I think my redness has calmed down too. I pair this in the morning with Clinique moisture surge intense cream. I'm going to be using this sunscreen for a long time. Wish it came in a bigger bottle.
