Poor Formula and Packaging
I have been using this everyday for 2 years and went through multiple bottles of it. I really wanted to like this because as someone mentioned, all natural mineral spfs are weird in their own way. So even with my poor rating, I will sadly keep purchasing it. The last 2 bottles I went through, the formulation had separated from the beginning. Sometimes it would be just liquid coming out of the spout. By the time I near the end, the product is too thick and streaky, making it impossible to blend in. I think an even homogenous mixture is the most important for a sunscreen to ensure even sun protection. So I would not recommend this to anyone who is maybe at high risk of developing sun related skin conditions. Out of all this, what frustrates me the most is that the pump does not reach the bottom of the bottle. I would say about 1/3 of the product is always wasted (or I have to fish out of the bottle myself which is unhygienic). The pump issue should be one of the easiest to fix so I hope they look into it.

Very disappointed
I expected so much from this product but after 1-2 weeks of using it I'm gonna throw it away. So expensive and it made my skin look greasy. Not shiny, just oily. SO oily. I tried everything. Blotting papers, mattifying moisturizers, setting powder, etc. and nothing got rid of the oily look. I was starting to think something was wrong with my skin but I tried a new sunscreen today and my face is glowing, not oily. On Zoom it looks especially bad, just a oily mess, I was so ashamed to show my skin. Anyway. Maybe if you have dry skin? I have a combination skin.

The Cocoon Apothecary Reflector SPF 30 Facial Sun Protection is like liquid chalk and doesn't spread well across my face. Even mixing it with my serum foundation, I found it to be really dry and made me look like Snow White (I'm white, but I don't want to look anemic!). I like the ingredients, and I like Cocoon Apothecary's face cleansers that I've tried, but this product was a disappointment. I won't be trying it again, and have had much better luck with Think's tinted SPF face cream and Andalou's BB creams.

The other reviews dont do this sunscreen justice. It's so good and goes on your face like it was never there and is honestly my favorite.

THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED
I love this SPF. I have tried EVERY natural spf and this is my go to. I mix it with my moisturizer and it applies like a dream. I find if it goes on a bit white I have likely used to much as I only need about a 1/3 of what I would use with a chemical spf! Blends so nicely when I mix it with my Orange Blossom Moisturizer from Cocoon or Carotene Glow. Never have I been disappointed by this product or any others Cocoon makes!

The Worst!
Purchased this thinking maybe the formula had been updated from the glass bottle version, but sadly no. Doesn't seem to separate like the formula in the glass bottle and comes out easier, but it is still like rubbing toothpaste on your face. Horrible stuff. Can rub it in a bit then it dries on the skin and it is impossible to move. Then after some time it separates while leaving the face white and sticky.

Excellent product
I love this stuff. I'm white and quite pale, but do get some colour in the summer and have freckles... this has a slight cast when I first put it on, but it disappears very quickly. It *is* thick, but I apply it directly after my moisturizer which helps to spread it really easily. I've travelled with it to Australia and the Caribbean, and it's always worked wonders. Also makes my skin look flawless! Big fan!

The Worst!
I really wanted to love this as I love many other products by Cocoon, but this was a huge fail! I like the tube as opposed to the glass bottle, but that's the only good thing. Seems like is going to apply nice then 5 sec in and it dries into a thick white glue. Literally! I've used several other mineral sunscreens that do apply nice and rub in almost clear, so back to Live Clean for now.
