This is a very nice formula. Doesn't look cakey at all and gives pretty good coverage. The result is a skin-like appearance with a dewier finish. If you don't care for a dewy finish, you can powder it down. The downsides of this foundation are the shades, the lightest colour isn't nearly light enough and it darkens even more (much more) when it dries down. I had to buy a white HD foundation to lighten it to match my skin tone and I hardly ever have to do that. That being said, after it's lightened, it looks better than some high-end foundations. I do recommend it but if you have a fair-light/light skin tone, this foundation won't match you straight out of the bottle. But if you don't mind getting a lightening foundation or this matches you as it is, you will love this one.

Well Covergirl Vitalist Elixir has done it, definitely something you may want to consider if you are finding your old makeup doesn't seem to be doing the same job. As we get older our skin changes, so it is only natural we may need to change our makeup. I am in my 50's and it is recommended to use a Foundation with a "Yellow Tint," Covergirl Vitalist has that and you need very little. I do mean very little, a tiny dab on your forehead, cheeks, chin and nose, blend in and you are good to continue. If you feel you need a bit more be sure to use tiny dabs, build it up slowly, but I think you will find one round of dabs is all you need. Continue with Blush, etc. Thank you Well.ca, this is definitely the "One-Stop Online Shop" for all our needs. Sammy (55+ and loving it)
