Description
Sugar and Coconut Oil Cleansers gently lift and remove everyday pollutants from hair, while Organic Kelp and Nettle extracts provide iron, calcium, potassium, and other vitamins and minerals that absorb into and help strengthen each hair strand. A proprietary blend of Organic Ginger Extract and Ginger Spice acts on the scalp to leave the skin feeling moisturized and revitalized. Absolutely Phenomenal Shampoo!
Okay, so unfortunately I'm only 26 years old and I'm already seeing my hair thin out. I've been searching for a shampoo and conditioner that not only make my hair feel thicker, but are also made from real, natural ingredients. I was strolling down the aisle in my local Fred Meyer (natural section) and this happened to catch my eye. I picked it up and read it and was extremely impressed by the ingredients and what it promised to do. Well, I'll tell you something...it came through in every way. It smells AMAZING, it makes my hair feel wonderful (it's as if the shampoo is a conditioner...no joke), and I can feel good about what I'm using. If you haven't tried this yet, you should. It's fantastic.

Simply the Best
I have tried almost every (literally) natural shampoo on the market over the years at least once: John Masters Organics, Aveda, Say Yes to Carrots, the Whole Foods 365 Brand, Jason, and many more. This is the only one that I keep coming back to, and it's not just because of the excellent value at the price point (though I do appreciate that). It is simply the best volumizing shampoo I have ever, ever tried. Thank you so, so much for making such a high quality, effective product at such a fair price. I'm hopelessly devoted!

Best Shampoo EVER!
I don't normally have thin hair, but apparently stress and low iron levels will make your hair fall out! I have tried all types of thickening shampoo and they haven't worked. I even plurged on $90 Monat shampoo. I ran across a magazine article ranking shampoos for thin hair. This ranked #6 on a list of 30 shampoos. I figured for the price, I would try it. I bought the shampoo and conditioner along with Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo and conditioner for thin hair (they ranked #2 on the list). Well I used the paul mitchell first. My hair felt like straw. I have long hair and could hardly get a brush through it. The next night I tried this DE shampoo and conditioner. OMG! It smells great, made my hair shiny, silky and it felt fuller. I am a new fan!! Just placed an order for body wash, soap, and more shampoo!! Also LOVE that it is not tested on animals. GREAT job Dessert Essence!

Okay, so this is my first time ever using an organic shampoo. I've grown up using the cheapest shampoo out there, but wanted to make a change in lifestyle. I got my package today and jumped in the shower out of excitement to try it. I was skeptical, of course, because I have very thin/oily hair. When I got out, I could automatically feel a difference. My hair felt so much lighter! It felt so clean, like it wasn't being coated down with bad ingredients. The real question was would it keep this lightweight feeling even after blow drying and styling. Boy was I surprised! It has so much volume, and manageability. No more brazilian blowouts...just a normal blowdry and my hair has the bouncy feeling I want. I will never go back to my other shampoos!

Great Shampoo!
Smells good! I've used this shampoo for about 2 months and I've noticed that my hair has become much softer, smoother, and looks healthier. I have very fine and thin hair. I used to use $20+ shampoos that did nothing and/or damaged my hair. This shampoo was less than $10 and has improved my hair so much! But I am going to try the Italian Lemon Shampoo since it's designed for oily hair, which I have. The only thing that was a little annoying was using it. It came out super slow and I had to really squeeze the tube just to even get a tiny amount. So I took a small knife and made the opening a little wider and it works fine now.

My favorite shampoo
This stuff smells amazing and noticeably improved the quality of my hair. I've tried many of Desert Essence's shampoo/conditioners and I always come back to the green apple. Makes my hair soft, shiny, and lightly scented. Love it!

Fantastic!
Not only does this shampoo smell amazing, but it is also the most effective volumizing shampoo that I have ever used. I have extremely fine hair that, even with styling, usually lies flat and limp. However, after just one use of this shampoo (and the accompanying conditioner) my hair has an incredible amount of volume and shine (not oily at all), and it has stayed that way throughout the day! This is simply a great product that absolutely does as it promises. Fantastic!

Pros & Cons
This shampoo smells great! Definitely gets the oil out of you hair, and your hair feels great. After using this shampoo for 2 weeks, I have noticed it is extremely drying to the scalp, I am scratching my head all the time. I have read that if scalp isn't happy, neither is your hair. The bottle is not the best either, the top collects water and when I pick it up I get cold water from the previous day all over my legs.
