Description
Organic Grape Extract, Resveratrol, and Red Wine Extract from red grapes native to Italy provide high levels of antioxidants that act as UV filters to aid in correcting damage. Organic Grape Seed Oil, rich in Vitamin E, quickly absorbs into hair and leaves it moisturized, while Vitamin B5 works on damage that has occurred inside the structure of the hair.

Great Discovery
I discovered this at my local natural food store when I was looking for something whose ingredients wouldn't make me cringe. I certainly couldn't find anything anywhere else that was all natural and still affordable! I purchased a tube, and what can I say? That was a year and a half ago and I almost always have at least two tubes on hand. What makes me smile about it is not only the way It caresses my hair, but that it also leaves a light fragrance of Grape NiHi soda (am I giving away my age? lol). I have thick, spiral curly hair that has a mind of its own. This gives it a lot of softness and keeps it from frizzing when I air dry it. It also makes a great leave-in!

Fabulous!
I have been struggling with dry brittle hair for the past 3 years. I have used Coconut and Mango shampoo and conditioners which were both great. I tried Italian Red Grape shampoo and conditioner and it is AMAZING. My hair hasn't been this soft in years. I am still trying to figure out which ingredient has created this AMAZING result. Love this stuff!!! Another great feature of Desert Essence products is that they are not heavily fragranced. I have an issue with heavy scented products and these products are so natural and lightly scented. Love Desert Essence!

Superior for Color-Treated Hair!
I have very dry ends almost all the time because of environmental factors and color treating. But I also have fairly thin hair, so I can't use too much of a product that weighs my hair down. That's always made it hard to find a great conditioner. In the two years I've been using this, it leaves my hair soft and beautiful without fail. I like it better than the coconut or raspberry versions from Desert Essence. The Red Grape is by far the best treatment I have for dry hair with the exception of an expensive Korean product I use sparingly every few weeks as a treatment.

Fantastic for color treated hair!
I alternate using this product and the coconut conditioner because I love the added protective benefits included in this conditioner but I typically have very dry coarse hair. I have color treated my hair for the past 22 years and have always been disappointed by the quick fade that I experienced after being in the sun. Since using these Desert Essence products my color retention is better and the overall condition of my hair has never been better. Thank you for a wonderful product!

Good Bye Frizz
I just got this shampoo and conditioner and within just a few washings my hair was softer, more managable, and no more frizzies around my face. The smell is awesome. I don't have color treated hair. Less is more with my body so I was looking for a gentle conditioner and cleanser. Great stuff and a little goes a long way and I have long hair!

Even my salon felt the difference in my hair!
I go to an Aveda salon. They are always pushing Aveda products and how great they are. I started using Desert Essence Italian Red Grape conditioner instead of the Aveda color care conditioner. The next time I went in, my stylist wanted to know what I was using to make my hair so soft!

I love this conditioner
I've been using the Italian Red Grape Conditioner for a year, at least, and I'll never buy a different conditioner as long as it is available. My hair is fine and other conditioners are often too heavy or don't rinse completely, leaving my hair flat. This one conditions just right and rinses completely. My hair is soft, shiny and full of volume.
