Nauseating new smell
I'm extremely disappointed in Dove as they decided to change a great product with no warning whatsoever! This shampoo previously had a mild, clean fragrance that did its job perfectly. The new formula left an overwhelming, unpleasant floral smell in my hair that ended up nauseating me after a short period of time. There was no label on the bottle that indicated the scent had been changed! Why would you do this when many places are going scent neutral and people have sensitivities to strong smelling products? My money has been wasted on shampoo I can't use and I now need to head out and find a replacement. I used to trust Dove products, but will think twice now!

Great Hair - But 1 Drawback
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful product. It does exactly what it needs to do. I have baby fine hair that can get oily at the crown. I wasn't sure if this would work for me as conditioners seem to weigh my hair down and/or add extra oil Im not looking to add. But this is great! Gentle, effective. That leaves my hair clean, bouncy, and adds luster to my hair. My only complaint is using sulfates as one of the ingredients - if it was sulfate free I may use more often. Dove is a trusted brand, that I trust - and I would trust it all the more if their products were totally sulfate free.

Great for thin hair
I have thin/fine hair that dries out and breaks along with getting oily quickly (like it did when I was 16) so finding Shampoos and Conditioners that Moisturize without making it oilyer is a real challenge. I've been using this combination for two months now and love it. I've notice fewer split ends, normally a real problem, more managable and isn't oily by the end of the day. In the past I've had to use 2-3 different combinations of brands changing daily to get two days between washing. In about 6 months I hope to find my hair has actually grown longer, it's been the same lenght for over 30 years because I can't get it to grow longer. I'll let you know next year how it goes. Thank you!

best ive used in awhile
I have fine curly hair that i recently stopped straightening my hair because summer will be here soon and im still growing it. Its about half an inch away from my elbows and im growing it out over summer time too. So i decided i needed something that would be moisturizing to my naturally dry hair. I bought this amd the conditioner with it and that was the best thing i did for my hair (aside from not using heat anymore). But my hair always feels looks and smells better after i use it and im really happy i bought it. My hair is smoother afterwards softer healthier looking and i love the smell. Ive made this the one i will use forever.

Going to cause a divorce
We've been using this shampoo for the past 7 years of our marriage. It used to have a very mellow non offensive smell. I loved how the smell merged with my wife's scent.
However, right in the middle of a pandemic Dove decides to change the scent. Not only does it smell like old perfume, now my wife is walking around smelling like this odour. I'm sure I don't smell much better either.
This is absolutely disgusting and whoever tested this product should be fired. Please do the cocacola thing and bring back Dove Daily Moisturizer Shampoo Classic

Love Dove just not their shampoo and conditioner
I want start of by saying that my family and I are fans of there products. Unfortunately, this past month we have experienced complications with their products. After careful examination we discovered that there shampoo and conditioner cause our hair damage. It tangles,frizz and put knots in my hair giving it horse feel. My hair was so unhealthy I needed to get a haircut and deep conditioning treatment to fix the damage. I spoke with my relatives and they told me they experienced the same thing. Not very happy with Dove right now don't know if I will continue using there products.

Moisturizing and shiny
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The shampoo smelled pleasant but not overwhelming, it had a slight fruit or sweet scent, but this was not noticeable. It lathered well and rinsed out easily without leaving residue. I also needed less than I do with other shampoos to get the same effect. when combined with the conditioner, it left my hair noticeably shinier, and reduced frizz both when blow drying and air drying. My hair felt light and silky. It also reduced my dry skin on my scalp, which I tend to get in the winter. The only thing I would say is that I am usually able to wash my hair every other day, but with this shampoo, my second day hair was looking pretty weighed down.

Expensive Shampoos No More!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to buy pricey shampoos. One day, I ran out and tried my hubby's Dove. So glad I did! My hair looks great! Shiny, with body. And so inexpensive too! Thanks Dove!
