As a "Free & Gentle" detergent user, I was SO happy to have the opportunity to review this product. Using fabric softener was something I stopped doing a few years ago because every product on the market was so fragranced. Even those that were branded as unscented had an odor to them. I used this product in 3 loads of laundry over the last week. The most notible difference was in my bedding. My sheets felt like silk after one wash and there was NO smell. I didn't find that the product left any residue, or gunk in my machine and I am so happy with it. I will absolutely buy this again.

I have never really purchased fabric softener before but now I will be a life long customer! I've seen the commercials for downy fabric conditioner and have been wanting to try it. I love the idea that it helps protect your clothes from stretching and fading. I used this on some of my older clothes that had piles on them and after just 1 wash they seemed softer and had less piles on them! I also love that this product is scent free so it doesn't interfere with the scent of your detergent! I use this with every load of laundry now. I love it!

It claims to be free of dyes and perfumes. There isn't any perfume added, but it doesn't smell good. That's the only thing that i don't like about it. But i guess that's what you get for needing a product with no perfumes or dyes. It is gentle on the skin which is the whole point of this product. It conditions and softens clothes just like regular softener. I will only use this for my kid's clothes. But i don't like the scent so i prefer softeners that do. Otherwise, still a good product.

There are a couple people in my family who are very sensitive to strong scented laundry products so when I saw I had the chance to test Downy Free and Gentle Fabric Softener I was very excited! This liquid fabric softener states it is Dye Free and Perfume Free, this is definitely true! It is a very light, fresh scent! After using this my clothes came out of the dryer feeling soft and smelling amazing! I will definitely be purchasing this product again, as it works very well and I know I can trust it since it is Dermatologist Tested!

I have been taking 2 prescription ant antihistamines and prednisone to try to alleviate the itching I have gotten from this. Awful product. I will never buy this again... I am going to go back to the Ivory or nothing

I had seen this in the store before, gave it a swerve as it is expensive. Shoppers army gave me the opportunity to try it and I'm glad I did! I used the amount for a medium load. Mixes into the rinse cycle quite nicely. I noticed my cotton work shirts came out of the dryer less wrinkled then usual. For anyone working in a scent free zone, this. Is the perfect softener. No odour to my clothes at all. I'm happy with this product and will certainly buy it again.

When I look for a fabric softener, I look for a product that is gentle on my clothing, and has no scent. I've tried most of the unscented products available on the market. Some are decent, and some, despite having no scent, still have a strong chemical smell. Downy Free & Gentle is truly scent free. I've tried it with multiple loads, and there is no scent. In fact, if I have used a scented detergent, that's the only smell I can detect. As for it's softening capacity, a little goes a long way. I hate having to 'unstick' socks from pants, and Downy really helps eliminate static cling. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone needing a great fabric softener, with absolutely no scent.

Ultra Downy Free & Gentle Fabric Softener is free of dyes and perfumes. This feature is great for those who are allergic to scents and this product does just what it says. I have been asked many times not to wear scents to certain events and now I will feel comfortable knowing that the people who are sensitive to perfumes can be in the same space as me. This is gentle on clothes as well and they feel very soft like all Downy products. Thank you for the chance to try it.
