Magic bottle & scent
With the lavender scented sugar soap I never have to worry whether I wash my hands long enough. The scent is so pleasant that I always take time to enjoy it in the moment. Smells just like the flowers that grow outside, next to our house. This soap is non-drying, gentle to the skin. I always call these bottles magic ones because they last so long compared to how frequently I use them. I guess the dispenser pump is designed not to waste product. Very appreciated.

Dries out my hair; leaves it feeling awful
I have used Dr. Bronner bar soap for many, many years. Lavender being by favorite. I decided to try to go "natural and healthy" for my hair shampoo and conditioner and bought the sugar soap, based on reviews. FIRST: The twist/squirt cap is defective and I cannot get it opened to squirt and work; SECOND: the soap is extremely drying on my hair, leaving it tangled and very dry. Even after using a small amount of the Dr. Bronner's Hair Cream.

Highly recommend
I purchased this in order to transition to safer body care products and have been using it as body wash and shampoo (with apple cider vinegar rinse) for about two weeks now. My hair has responded well to it, I have fine hair that is usually pretty weighed down but it is soft and now somewhat curly. I feel good about using this and plan to continue using it in the future. I recommend people giving it a try for sure.

Looks like another great soap. I'm used to the lavender castile soap, so I'm still getting used to this one. It smells much sweeter and fruitier, I guess because of the sugar and grape juice, but so far I'm pleased. I've used this to wash my hair and the baby and it's worked well. It's pricier than the regular soap though, so unless it performs significantly better I'm just as happy with the Castile.

Great for body and hands, not so much for hair
Having been diagnosed with some allergies, I had to replace most of my household items. This soap is really wonderful for both body and hands. Does a great job cleaning but doesn't make you feel stripped dry. Unfortunately, as a shampoo, it leaves my hair feeling and appearing dirtier than before I used it. This is the only reason for the 4 stars, I highly recommend it for anything else.

Love This Soap!
I will absolutely only use these soaps for my hands. I wash my hands frequently and if I use any other brand of soap, my eczema appears on the palm of my hand. I changed over to Dr. Bronner's soaps many years ago and it solved my problem. Now it is the only soap I use and I buy the large jug to refill my many smaller hand pumps around my house. I highly recommend this soap!
