The Good:
This soap smells AMAZING. Makes my mouth water.
It is so so nice as a face wash. My skin feels wonderful after using it and it doesn't dry at all.
Its a wonderful, nondrying option for hand soap!
The Bad:
It is very liquid. Which isn't bad per se, but something to get used to. Its like maple syrup viscosity.
It is TERRIBLE as a shampoo. It took a lot of soap to cover my hair, and even though thoroughly washed, my hair was heavy, almost greasy, and coated with a film the next day. Not nice at all.
As a body wash, it's nice, but using a loufa it takes a fair amount of product to fully cover your body.
The cost of the product is prohibitive for use beyond face wash and hand cleanser.

Dr, Bronner products are amazing and this soap is at the top of the list. The smell is wonderful--it is citrusy, green happy smell. The viscosity of the soap is perfect--not too runny or too thick. It cleans the hands perfectly and rinses well. I wash my hands many times a day as I have a chronic disease affecting my immune system. This soap is exceptional. It does not dry out the skin. In a pinch I once washed my hair with it under the kitchen sink tap and was amazed at how well it performed as a shampoo. I have bought it to give as gifts and all the recipients have loved it and asked for more. !!!!!!!

Best soap ever!!!!
We love this soap! Our family has been using this scent for over a year now. I was hesitated to buy “lemongrass lime”. My son, now 10, picked out this one and he said he liked the smell. And I’m glad I let him pick out his own soap out bc it smells amazing you guys! This is now our exclusive soap and scent for the whole house. We have it in all the bathrooms and kitchen sink. I’ve also purchased the baby unscented sugar soap and now just refill that with the lemongrass lime. I think this is our 3rd half gallon purchase. We wish there was a gallon size we can purchase?!?! 1/2 gallon size will last our family of 5, 3 months ish.

Great smell
I mostly love it - the smell is FANTASTIC, I would give it 50 stars for the smell. The only reason why I give it a 4 is because it is a little bit too runny so it comes out fast, making it messy. I’m trying to get better at cupping my hands more but haven’t gotten the hang of it yet.
Question if people are able to respond to reviews - is it supposed to be like a sugar scrub soap or is it just called sugar soap? Because it’s definitely just a regular soap, there is no sugar in it like an exfoliating scrub. Which I guess I was expecting, not knocking that it isn’t, I just can’t find the answer.

beautiful soap to use, I just bought 3 more bottles after buying this one, lovely smell and feels so soft on your hands, I got a sample and LOVED it, I just received my 3 bottles lavender, tea tree & the lemon lime again. After using this soap for a month I am noticing my hands softer looking and for some reason 2 little brown age spots I had on my hands are all most gone, it must be this soap. This will be the only soap I use anymore, It last a long time and I love what is in it and most of all what is NOT in it

Great For Locks
If you are looking for a product that will thoroughly clean your locks..THIS IS THE ONE!! Not only did it remove all of the product build-up that has been a problem I had for years, it has kept my hair smelling fresh, shiny and softer. It did take a few washings to remove all of the old product that was in my hair (which just proved to me that my hair was never really clean) and I definitely recommend the diluted apple cider vinegar rinse (as you suggested on the bottle) because with locks you want to make sure that all of the soap has been removed. I was hesitate at the beginning to use the Lemongrass Lime Organic Sugar Soap in my locks because I didn't know how it would work with my locks (your Castile soaps also work well), but I am hooked with this soap!!

My favorite hand soap
I purchased the sugar soap on a whim a few months ago and fell in love. Between covid, working with animals, and having psoriasis, I needed something to give my poor hands a little extra love. Since lavender wasn’t available this round I ordered peppermint and lemongrass soaps, and I can tell you that the lemongrass is on the favorites list! Leaves my hands soft, a little goes a long way, it gives me a happy little energy boost with the fragrance, and I’m so glad to support a company that does so much good as well!

Fantastic soap
I really love sugar soaps. They work very nicely on my skin. Never drying, removing dirt and smelling great. I have one in the kitchen, one in each bathroom, and a big bottle of the “lemongrass” sugar soap in the shower. It is subjective but that one smells just incredibly good. The skin on my face is very sensitive but neither the lemongrass nor the lavender sugar soap irritates it. That is very rare. Usually I have to use scent free products.
