I wish I had found this soap five years ago. I have mild acne and with continued use of this soap for about a month, it has changed the texture of my skin (made it much smoother) and kept acne and blemishes at bay. I moisturize with organic virgin coconut oil and the combination of the two have been very effective. I eat a vegan diet and try to avoid allergens (gluten, soy) as well as caffeine and refined sugar, all of which have helped with acne as well. Dr. Bronner's uses fair trade, sustainable palm oil too, and all organic ingredients. Excellent company. I'm happy to give them my money.

I wish I had been using this the last 51 years.
I cracked open the bottle o' liquid Dr. Br'n'r's that had been in my camping gear since the mid 90's. The scent told me that Doc B's that is old enough to take you drinking should be replaced so we made a big order and Tea Tree soap is the first of the many things we bought that I tried. Absolutely love this stuff. It's a bit overwhelming on the nostrils when you wash your face but nothing worse than a bit of vape-o-rub and that just lets ya know it's working, like when you brush your teeth with scouring powder and it turns from blue to green. Do not do this - I tried that so you don't have to.

Best bar soap
I love all of Dr.Bronner’s bar soaps. Normally I wouldn’t risk paying so much for bar soap but a roommate in college gave me an entire box of them that lasted me at least a year, so I know the quality is amazing. With consistent use, my skin improved so much. After college I went back to cheap soap (Dove, Yardley’s, dial, etc) and my skin started having problems again, like acne, itchiness, dryness, etc. which is why I’m now buying Dr. Bronner’s again. It’s entirely worth the money. They all smell amazing, make the skin feel great, last for a long time, and now I discovered they work great as a shampoo bar, which is awesome because bars marketed as shampoo by other brands tend to be way more expensive.

Amazing product. Cleared my skin in three days. There is a bit of a sting, but that goes with any tea tree oil product (it doesn't last long). I get this for much cheaper at my health food store.

Not really Castile
I love this soap for the smell and cleansing power but it is a little drying. That’s because it’s not truly “pure Castile” soap. Castile soap is 100% olive oil and is super gentle on skin. This soap contains many other oils and lists olive oil as a lesser ingredient. The first ingredient coconut oil makes it super cleansing but explains the drying. I’m a little confused that such a reputable company doesn’t know this or just slaps words on their labels for marketing purposes.

Cleared my skin!
Tea tree oil is a natural antibacterial, therefore, this bar soap will not grow that bacteria. I used this as a teen on my face and it cleared my acne after months of topical and oral medications. I use this as an adult STILL everyday as my face cleanser and have put so many people on it to clear their acne and it always works, will never ever use anything else!!

Excellent for hair!
I use this as a shampoo bar. It is fantastic. It lathers up beautifully, the tea tree oil stimulates my scalp and the hair is squeaky clean afterwards. *You probably should use a conditioner after. As an added bonus, my hair thickness is returning. I waited a month before posting this to see if I was delusional or it was really true and it IS true.
