Unlike conventional sponges which contain plastic materials, these scrubby sponges are plastic free. They are made with 100% plant based fibers that are compostable, non-toxic and safe for the environment. The Scrubby side is made from coconut fibers and the sponge side from plant cellulose. Safe to use on all surfaces.

Just ok
I wanted to love these. But in reality I am still looking for a better quality solution. As someone else mentioned, the scrubby side is rough. I was not smart enough to realize this BEFORE I scratched my stainless steel faucet badly. I thought natural scrubbers were quite soft. This makes it a good scrubber for the shower walls but the scrubby side sheds stringy pieces very easily and after only 3 uses in 2 months my first sponge split down the middle and as a result also started shedding sponge pieces already. I suspect that I am better off using separate scrubbers and sponges. My other cellulose sponges did not crack open like this.

Great plastic-free and compostable sponges!
The scrubby side is quite rough, so I am reluctant to use on pans that can scratch, but overall, good purchase. Will definitely buy again.

wow say bye to plastic
thought it was cute because it was pumpkin style so i bought on a whim. then i read the box and realized its natural what a find. It works well like any other sponge feels great no plastic in my sponge natural sponge .I'm going back to the store and buy them all
