not what I was hoping for
I was excited to try this product. I had been purchasing Earth's Own Almond tetra packed almond "milk" for a long time before they discontinued it. I now buy the almond that has a shorter life and must be kept cold always (the previous kind could be stored in the pantry until it was opened for a long time). I was hoping this could be a replacement for the previous kind of almond milk. While it is good in hot drinks, it is too thick (and has too many ingredients) for use as a straight milk substitute. So I guess I'll have to stick with the refrigerated almond milk. ... I'm disappointed.
