Words cannot describe how bad this smells and tastes. It doesn't smell or taste like cabbage (which I like) and it doesn't smell or taste like any sauerkraut I've ever had before (and until now, hadn't found a sauerkraut I didn't like), it smells and tastes... hard to describe...like decayed cabbage maybe? tt's just awful. In the garbage it went which is really disappointing and a waste of money.

Been a long search for a good sauerkraut, but found it
I am so happy with this brand of foods, have not been disappointed by anything by East Wholesome. Finding this sauerkraut was a game changer for me, I've always had this in my home, another kosher brand, which does not sell in this area at present and must be refrigerated at all times. This tastes exactly like what I love the best, so very glad to have found it and a great price point as well.

There is no other sauerkraut but this one
For years I always had a certain brand of organic sauerkraut that I loved, but it was very hard to get in Canada, and also very expensive. It had to be refrigerated at all times. This is the best of both worlds, the cut and the brining of this cabbage are excellent. I like it raw or cooked, but the heath benefits are better with raw. Please keep carrying this brand, it's amazing.

Tastes like feet
I love sauerkraut but this is bad! Smells and tastes like feet. Not a good flavour at all.
