I love this nail polish! One review mentioned the grooves on your nails still show. Just use a good base coat. It fills the grooves. A top coat really does make it last longer. The most wonderful thing is that it is not tested animals.

I have this in the rose gold, or "Penny Talks" colour. What I like about it is its great for when I don't have time to really 'do' my nails. It dries very fast and generally goes on easily. What I don't love is it shows every groove, line or imperfection in the nail bed without a proper base coat or even a thicker nail filler. If you have healthy nails then its the easiest mani in the world, and the colour is simply gorgeous.

I love this colour. It lasts on the nails and usually nailpolish doesn't last on me. The colour has a nice rose gold colour to it.

Love metallic nail polishes so loved the shine and colour (No Place like Chrome), but don't put it on outside if windy because it dries really fast. Would buy again.

I bought "good as gold". I was not as gold as I had hoped. Its very muted, almost silver. It dries quickly and does show ridges. I didn't mind that. I didn't find it chip easily but, I only used it on a statement nail. I liked that you could really get away with only one coat.

This product chips immediately. At $10 a bottle, I won't be buying it again. Very disappointed.

Meh, at best. Streaky application, chips nearly immediately (even with Seche Vite topcoat), colors definitely not as vibrant as shown on webpage - more muted and dull, actually. I bought Nothing Else Metals and Penny Talk. They looked pretty in the browser but, in real life, they are more "fall shade" than the vibrant metallics I wanted for summer. The "chrome" effect is also very weak so, if you are looking for the real mirror-shine chromes, this definitely is not it. I'd say, for the overall performance (or rather lack thereof), not worth 10 dollars a bottle. CH New Bohemian Luster chromes for 2012 are MUCH nicer.

I love Essie polish, but I was disappointed with this one too. The colour was nice but it chipped the day I painted my nails. I used a basecoat and a top coat and they still chipped. The formula and application was horrible for this metallic polish. I won't use it again.

I completely agree with the previous review. They dry quickly and will show every imperfection your nails have. On my finger nails these chipped within 1 day ( i wore a base coat with Seche Vite top coat)! I wear Essie nail polishes often but the formula and application for these is horrible! However they aren't very streaky compared to other metallic nail polishes...gave 3 stars only because i love the color 'penny talk' which reminds me of rose gold, so beautiful! Sadly it chips so quickly so I would not recommend.

These do chip pretty quickly, but the vivid metallics are a HUGE improvement on the foil polishes from back in the day. They dry very fast and show tiny imperfections, so you should use a ridge-filling base coat underneath.
