First off, I was pleasantly surprised at how large the bottle was! I've been using it twice a day and I love how it really does feel like water. No oily feel or noticeable smell. I wear a lot of makeup to cover my skin imperfections and it was effective at removing my foundation and eyeshadow. However, its not that great at removing mascara, so I use a separate eye makeup remover for that. It leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out which is a definite plus in this winter weather.

When I find a product I like, I stick with it! For the longest time I used a Water for removing and toning and eventually they changed their ingredients and it no longer worked - I've been on the HUNT for a replacement and suffice to say - Micellar has become my go-to. After having used it for the past few days I've already noticed no additional breakouts, smoother skin and a less harsh way of removing my daily makeup. I LOVE IT. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Micellar Water worked ok, but seemed to take a lot of time and I needed several cotton balls to remove my makeup. My face felt nice and clean once I was done, but it took a lot more time and effort than my usual cleansing wipes. I might use it to remove eye makeup more than anything since it did not irritate my eyes and did remove my mascara well. If you are use to washing your face with water then I recommend this product as it is easier than hanging out over the sink, but for me I think I will continue using my cleansing cloths which I find much more economical and easier for me.

I am very pleased with it, it acts as a cleanser and eye makeup remover and acts like a toner to refresh your face. It removes all my makeup really well, has now scent which is nice and my face feels clean and fresh after use without rinsing! I also received the clearly brighter brightening and smoothing spf 15 moisturizer. It is a nice light lotion that applies nicely, having an spf is a bonus, and I have noticed a positive difference in my skin tone! I will definitely buy this product in the future.

Gentle cleansing water
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like this Garnier Skinactive micellar cleansing water. It helps to remove make up and also cleanses and smoothes, no rinsing required. It also has no oil, alcohol or fragrance. I personally find it not a super heavy duty make up remover but it definitely does its job in cleaning if its a light everyday make up. I like to leave the soaked pad on for a while before wiping, itll help to remove the make up easier. It doesnt leave a residue or sticky feeling afterwards but I do like to use a cleanser and wash my face afterwards. Overall a decent make up remover that is not harsh for skin.

Colour me impressed! In the past I have not been thrilled with Garnier products and thus would never have considered picking up the SkinActive Micellar Water, but fortunately I received a bottle for free from ChickAdvisor, and I am 100% sold. I have been using that expensive holy grail micellar water for some time now, and never expected this drugstore version to do as well, but it did! I moistened a cotton pad and the micellar water did the rest. End result: clean face! I will definitely repurchase. Tell all your friends!

It made my face feel so good after applying it. I used it under my moisturizer in the morning and also to take my make-up off at the end of the day. I had no issues with removing my make-up, except for mascara. And I do not use any fancy type of mascara, just a regular one and I still had issues with it. It pretty much did what it promised - perfectly cleansed and refreshed skin without rubbing or rinsing - well maybe not perfectly but it did a great job. At $9.99 a bottle it is a great buy!.

I don't have to wash my face first before using ........ Bonus! It doesn't have a strong perfume smell and feels wonderful. I accidentally washed my face beforehand with soap and was surprised to see how much dirt/makeup was still present on my face, I used the garnier micellar water with a cotton ball and was shocked to see how much makeup came off my face. After using, my face felt clean and soft.
I am definately sold on this product and will continue to use from now on.

Since trying this product I'm super excited! I'm switching brands for sure. This bottle is double the size most products are and work amazing on sensitive skin. I have only been using this product for 1 week and I love it. It cleans off all my makeup, even stubborn waterproof mascara. Didn't leave my face feeling tight or red after use which was great with my sensitive skin. No residue was left behind or a film feeling. Face felt clean and ready for moisturizer.

I have tried other makeup removers and never felt that they really cleansed my skin. But this micellar water not only easily removed every bit of make-up, it left my skin feeling really clean and soft. There is no rubbing involved and it did not irritate my eyes like some cleansers do. There wasn't even any tingling like there can be with an alcohol cleaner or toner. No leftover film or a need to splash water on my face to rinse. This is something I will purchase myself after this trial bottle is gone.

It removes my makeup and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without a strong scent. It did have some issues with waterproof mascara, but I find that most micellar waters do not fully remove my mascara, especially not the newer drug store ones.
I usually use one made for oily skin to help with my t-zone and while this was not, I did not find that my skin was any greasier than usual.
For $10 for a generous sized bottle, I would definitely buy it again.

My face has never been so clear in all my adult life. It removes the make up like nothing else. It has a plesant smell, it's not harsh on the skin, and it doesn't leave your skin feeling gross. When I wake up in the morning, I cleanse my face with it, and before I go to bed. And after working out at the gym, I cleanse as well. It's amazing stuff. Doesn't even burn the eyes. This will be always be in my cupboard in my house all the time!

Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing water. I use cotton pads with the cleansing water to remove my makeup every morning and before bed. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed after a long day. It's important to me that my cleanser is gentle on my face. I love that you can use it on your eyes, lips, face and neck and does not irritate my skin. It also does not contain any alcohol, or fragrance.

First off for the price this is VERY affordable. Its a very big bottle and it cost only $9.99
When I tried it, i compared it with my other japanese make up cleanser that is also micelllar and I would say this it works as well as the one that I purchased from Japan. It is unscented *which I love*.. and it really does feel like water when you wipe it on your face, BUT with the power of removing all your make up! I did a test and wiped it again and it pretty much removed most if not not all of my make up!
Totally worth it and would buy it next time!

Alright, I'll admit it. I was skeptical as heck about this product. Removes makeup, cleanses the skin, no need to rinse, should make your face feel fresh. Yeah, ok.. I'm so sure it's that awesome.
Wellllll, I was wrong. It really is that awesome. It not only removed the 300lbs of makeup I sometimes wear, but it made my skin feel fresh and clean. No weird sticky feeling, not greasy, absolutely perfect.
I highly recommend this product. Not to mention the bottle is huge and will probably last a quite a while.

My skin can get very sensitive depending on my hormonal cycle or the seasons and this product is my must-have. I also love how efficient this micellar water is to remove makeup, it gets removed super fast without any irritation and it doesn't hurt your eyes if you are removing makeup near that area, plus you only need 1 swipe! It's also not greasy and can remove waterproof mascara! This is definetly holy grail level and I definetly recommend it! Also, I got this product for free to review #gotitfree

I have combination skin and have oily spots and still have breakouts but often also have very dry patches, especially when the seasons change. I wear makeup almost every day. This micellar water worked well to clean my skin and balance my skin. It does not have a strong smell and makes my skin feel cleansed and smooth. It also helped to take away the oily spots while not drying out other areas of my skin. The bottle is quite big and you don't need to use a lot of it so it is good value for the price.

Works well with eye makeup and lip stains and heavy foundation. No strong scent so its easy on the sinuses. I like that there is no sticky feeling after you get done with using the product. And yes, you don't need to rinse your face afterwards but I still do because thats just what im used to. It does take a few cotton pads to get through your whole face of makeup (if you wear a lot of make up). Its a great product, However I don't see the need for it in my routine.

I've been keeping it beside my bed because no water is needed, which is perfect because I often forget to wash my face before bed, and regret it in the morning. The price point is more than on par, it is a steal of a deal for what you get. My only concern is that it may not be the greatest design of packaging to travel with, I find the lid opens very easily. A gentle, effective cleanser that is so easy to use. I will definitely be recommending to friends, and definitely will purchase again!

It's amazing how it removes makeup without needing to rinse or rub. For heavy eye makeup, I find that letting the cotten pad sit on the eye area for a few extra seconds does the job. I love how the ingredient list is fairly simple compared to other makeup removers. It is unscented and doesn't have any colour additives so it's great for those with sensitivities. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use.

I had seen it in stores and in advertisements but didn't realize how awesome it was. I put just a little product on a cotton pad and it takes off all of my makeup and more. I even use it when I have no makeup on and it helps refresh my face and gets all the dirt and grim off of my face. It is wonderful and I will be purchasing it again in the future for sure, now that I know how great works. I also love the way the bottle looks. I keep it on my bathroom counter.

I still use a foam cleanser to get rid of my makeup and then I go over my face with this and I can't believe the makeup that is still present after using a cleanser.
I do not like the smell although not offensive. The bottle is big so the value is there. Very simple product to use. I do find it doesn't remove my eye makeup great but i just go over it a couple of times. This did not dry out my skin and doesn't leave it feeling tight. I will continue to use this product.

I love micellar waters for makeup removal, and will try them all. That said, I was excited to see if Garnier's could beat "the one" (aka Bioderma). The verdict? It's pretty good! I found the solution works well to breakup makeup and remove it without the need for tugging and rubbing. I found the solution to be gentle on my eyes, and was able to remove long wearing formulas pretty easily. I will totally buy this again, but will likely try the waterproof version next as I tend to wear waterproof mascara.

Close to $30 for 500ml, and this stuff from Garnier is seriously IDENTICAL!! It has less ingredients which in my opinion makes it better because there's less crap in it I'm putting on my face! It performs the exact same way and the 400ml bottle is only $10! Now that's a bargain! It's absolutely 100% a dupe for the Bioderma Micellar water! I will definitely be switching over to this Garnier Micellar water from now on! Save yourself money and buy Garnier over Bioderma!

I have eyes that are uber-sensitive to chemicals and I tend towards waterproof mascara so the stuff isn't flaking into my eyes all day long and making my allergies kick. This cleansing water worked great on both fronts... it took off the mascara no sweat and didn't leave my eyes itchy, watering or suffering. There's no scent to it so anyone bothered by stinky stuff doesn't have to worry. Best part, I felt like I had a clean face afterwards and didn't feel like all the moisture had been sucked out, inviting the wrinkles to come and stay!

When removing makeup it comes off effortless and is gentle enough to use on your eyes. And while cleansing your face, you can feel your pores tingling so you know it's working. It also doesn't dry out or make your face oily. One of my favorite parts is that you don't have to rinse it off - sometimes you just don't have the time or patience to do a full face wash. I've recommended this to many of my friends & those who have bought it so far love it too!

It has a very light scent and works really well to take off eye makeup without burning my eyes. My only complaint would be that it doesn't seem to work as well for taking off foundation, but I just go over my face twice and it's fine. This costs $9 at my local Walmart which is much cheaper than some other drugstore micellar waters that I've seen out there. Overall, I think it's a great product and I will continue to repurchase it. I am curious about how the one for waterproof makeup works, maybe it would be better for taking off foundation.

The idea of just using this to clean my face and not have to bother with rinsing was very appealing. Sadly I do not feel that it worked as well as other cleansers or even my soap and water. I liked the feel and the fact that is was scent free however I do not feel it got my skin as clean and it was not effective on my mascara at all. As a quick cleanse throughout the day it was refreshing and fast but it couldn't replace my normal routine and at that price I will stick with soap and water

I found that the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water was really gentle on my sensitive skin. I didn't have to scrub really hard to remove makeup.
After use my skin felt very hydrated and refreshed and I noticed that my skin remained very soft and hydrated throughout the day without feeling dry.
Other products that I have tried left my skin feeling tight and dried out.
Highly recommend this product!

I thought at first that there was no way an unassuming looking product like this could be as effective as it is!!! I mean it says that it's just water right??? WRONG... it's cleaning power is amazing but it doesn't leave you feeling dried out or chemically stretched, also it actually gets off everything... I mean everything, I thought my face wash was doing the job, it wasn't... The cotton pad proved that there was a lot left to be wiped away! I am in love, and will 100% be buying this product and adding to my daily cleansing routine
